Globerati, Pinot Grigio, 750mL

I drink a fair amount of wine and I can politely sip on almost anything without being disgusted, but this is absolutely horrible. I bought 2 bottles thinking it's pinot grigio (safe) at a great price and ended up opening them both because I thought maybe the first one was just bad and it's normally better. It's not. Don't buy it. Even for a less than discerning palate, it's terrible.

Was trying out different wines and got 2 bottles of Globerati Pinot Grigio based on decent ratings and price. For reference, I usually go for $3-5 wine from Trader Joes.First sip was surprisingly dreadful. The wine tasted bad, but did not taste like it had gone bad. To confirm I pop open the second bottle and it tasted the same. So maybe its just me? Poured another glass and asked my roommate's opinion: scrunched nose, shook head, and said "no".

Do not buy this wine. It’s overpriced and quite frankly it tastes horrible. I have had better bottles of white wine that were 3$. This honestly tastes like rubbing alcohol. Try something else. The only positive is the appearance of the bottle.

I do not like white wine. However, I was taking a wine tasting class and had to get one. This turned out to be a good choice. The aroma is pleasant and fruity, the notes clear. While I’m still not a white wine fan, this was pretty good. If you like white wine, I suspect it’s very good.

Meh, mediocre — not bad not good, has a rather sour finish. Wanted to like it for the reasonable price, but will not buy again.

Any wine priced this low has me skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised how lovely this wine really was! Buy it while you can, don’t miss out on this value price item!
