Good and a long. Helps when I have to lock my bike against a rail, bench, etc. Since there's a chronic lack of bike racks on my school campus, that's a very good feature. The self coiling is strong, too. I can't attach the lock to my bike due to some aftermarket modification, but it wraps nicely around my arm while I ride. Would buy from Lock Advantage again.

Easy to install and use. I sort of wish it was a bi-directional key (meaning it didn't matter what side to open). I had another bike lock that was like this and was nice. However, not that big of deal and just something I will have to get used to. I thought the lock was going to be a little darker or more black than it is. Its more grey than I thought but not that big of deal. I like this lock a lot better than what was available at bike shops.

This lock failed me after only a few days of use. It was a nightmare to use every time I had to move my bicycle (because the key constantly got stuck), and by the end, the key got stuck in the lock so badly that the handle came off as I tried to remove it, rendering the lock useless. I will demand a refund for this horrible product.

After just a week or so, the lock started jamming. Inserting the key is really difficult, I have to wiggle it around and force it, to the point that I'm afraid the key (which feels pretty flimsy) is going to snap off in the lock. It'll get the job done I suppose, but if you're looking for quality go elsewhere. I don't trust it, and I wouldn't use it unless I had no other option.

***PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GETTING THIS, GET IT AT YOUR OWN RISK*** so for starters all locks can be broken in to but this one felt as if I could pull on the lock hard enough it would come out, but anyways my bike was stolen the lock was cut even with a good way of locking it, someone got into it, so I'm out 700$ just saying before you get it

Haven't had an opportunity to use it but I am pleased with the quality of and the self recoiling of the heavy coated wire rope. It will make anyone work to get my bike

It functions smoothly and seems to be heavy duty, The only thing that is a disappointment is that the holder doesn't seem to serve any purpose from what I could gather.

I plan to use this for locking up my bike in college. I think it is really sturdy and I hope it does its job of not being prone to cutting. So far, I really love the material and although not so heavy, it is pretty heavy. I say about 5 pounds. Love the key option instead of the combination lock, this being the biggest reason I ordered it. I also love how they give you two sets of keys. I'm not really sure how to use the bike holder, so I would have maybe liked some instructions to come with this... Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase!!
