Review: Yoga blocks - Purchased these to practice some arm strengthening poses, only received and tried them out today and am so pleased I added them to my kit, found them ideal for what I bought them for, they can be used horizontally, vertically or flat. I also tried them in a couple of poses I didn't feel properly aligned in (but had persisted with anyway!) i.e. half moon balance and reverse triangle which has resulted in a much better posture being attained and maintained without worrying about over-extending and risking injury, Im pretty confident that with continued use and by sensibly working through the 3 heights they can be used in I will maximise my confidence and ability to execute the moves with proper form. If I'd had the sense to invest in blocks earlier in my practice I'm now thinking I probably would have progressed a lot quicker and more effectively and would strongly recommend them to anybody wishing to practice yoga with patience and mindfulness rather than just diving in as I have a tendency to do and did!!!
