DVD - Complete Course for New Parents (Newborn Care 0-6 Months)

My husband and I found that it went over the basics well. We still had random questions, but it was a great alternative to in person classes which were cancelled for covid. The sections are short enough that we would watch one or two on Saturdays throughout the second trimester and felt like we could absorb the content. I knew most of the content from years of babysitting, but it was a great intro for my husband. For the record, while this dvd had a broader range of topics, our favorite video was Happiest Baby on the Block - geared towards calming a fussy baby (so good!)

Best baby item I've bought yet. I'm going to be a new grandmother and am "out of the loop" on what everyone recommends these days ... it's been 22 years. Not only am I watching it for myself, but we have the parents to be (especially new daddy) watch a section now and then when they come over. He can handle about 20-40 min of info at a time. Haha. He works a lot is is unlikely take an outside class on these things, but watching the sections at my house has been great. It answers all those questions they don't even know to ask. Very honest information, very practical, and highly recommend for any new parent or grandparent.

This is really basic information that is not worth the cost. My husband and I were both disappointed and had hoped for more detailed information.

I'm really glad I bought this DVD set. I had been eyeing it for awhile and wondered whether it was worth it. It really is, especially if you don't know many other young parents. For me, I was the first among all of our friends to have a baby and I also don't have any close female relatives who had one. So this Baby Manual DVD was really informative and helped me get away ahead of the game. It really put things into perspective and allowed me to feel more competent once the little one arrived.

Very, very pleased! This was a gift for a new "Grammy" who was delighted for a thorough "refresher" course before the birth of her first grandchild. Discs have also been watched by the new parents together as a couple who really enjoyed & appreciated them. Well executed instruction that is current, professional, sensitive, & highly appealing to all ages & learning modalities (visual & auditory). Seller was extremely helpful.

This video didn’t really teach me much. It was more talking about things rather than really digging in to adjusting to being a parent. I feel it could have provided more detailed information to prepare you for baby.

What I love best is that this comes from real parents who have lived through this stage and can share the solutions to the toughest challenges for new moms and dads. It answered a lot of questions for me, and since I'm more of a visual person, it really resonated with me. Thanks!

It is great DVD, it covers all subjects ( diapering, feeding, breastfeeding, sleeping, infant CPR etc..), very informative. I recommend it.
