Honua Opti MSM Organic Pure Sulfur Crystals - Course Flakes - 1 Pound

I have Celiac Disease and Hashimotos disease and all the trouble that comes along with both of them...especially high inflammation. After reading Dr. Stephanie Seneff's information about glyphosate and the disruption of sulfate I looked into MSM. She doesn't take MSM but gets her sulfate from organic foods but I knew that I needed to it as soon as possible due to my health. My hands are always swollen and achy and my face is puffy most days. 30 minutes after taking my first teaspoon my hands felt amazing. All the pain disappeared and my fingers were thinner than I had seen them in a long time. After a few days of taking the teaspoon dose twice daily my stomach started to give me problems, I became tired, and I started getting headaches. I knew from past experiences that I was experiencing detox symptoms. I lowered my dose to 1/4 teaspoon twice daily and I am feeling amazing! I am going to SLOWLY work my way up to the full dose. Don't take it with any other vitamins or medications besides vitamin C. Wait about 30 minutes/hour for the rest of your vitamins and meds.I am now approximately a week and a half in and I am already noticing that my face is thinner and very hydrated. I usually have very dry skin but it seems like I have a lot more moisture than usual. I also had a wrinkle on my face that seems to be diminishing. I am so thankful for finding MSM and love that I can use my hands again. My mother has parkinsons disease and I have just sent her some so I hope she can benefit from it too. I highly recommend this product. Just work your way up slowly and if you experience any detox symptoms stick with it because when they go away you will feel great!

Awful taste!

I don't care for the taste, but I feel that this is a good product. I take daily.

This is the worst tasting product I've ever tried. I bought so many different drinks and juices to try and nothing worked, it still tasted so awful I just could not drink it. I also noticed that it made my gums bleed, so I just stopped using it after 2 weeks. It did not work for me.

I'm still experimenting with MSM to see if it is useful and helpful for me. I originally tried some from a friend, for constipation, and ordered more when I learned it is also good for joint health. For me it has a bitter, saline taste, making it difficult to take consistently. The product, however, is top notch and matches all the manufacturer's claims. I will buy again if I develop a routine of taking it daily.

I have arthritis in an athletically over worked right knee. I've tried acupuncture, P.T., heat, ice and cortisone shots and nothing has really helped.My doctor thinks I'm nuts but after three or four weeks of using this product along with glucosamine and chondroitin, which I've been using for some time, I am walking without a noticeable limp and virtually no pain. Everyone reacts differently to supplements but this seems to have had a positive effect. I am cautiously optimistic.

Can't live without my MSM - my hair, nails and skin never looked better... and I'm 46! Great stuff that, with our depleted soils and foods lacking nutrients, every human (and animal!) needs to take regularly. Over all, I can't tell if this is any better than the NOW brand I've used previously, but it's definitely keeping up. And I have more peace-of-mind with products that are organic like this one so I'm giving it 5 stars.
