No matter what time of year or where you live, fleas are working overtime to infest your home and attack your cat. Vectra for Cats and Kittens is a monthly topical treatment that kills fleas at all (eggs, larvae, pupae and adults). Used monthly, you can take back your pet and your home from these pests.

it works!
Saw a few fleas on my kitty several months back, and settled on Vectra after doing a little bit of internet research. Was pleasantly surprised that it worked, and worked well. I haven't seen a flea, or seen her scratching herself, since her first application.Kitty did seem to get a little bit lethargic for about a day after applying, but I kept an eye on her and it passed. Possible it was just the "trauma" of being manhandled and losing a little bit of trust with dad, who meanly applied a wet gooey substance to the back of her neck where she couldn't reach.Would buy again.

I would buy this again for my baby
I have been weary to get any medication at all for my baby because of reviews on products. This was the only product that didn't have reviews about how the product damaged the skin or caused hair loss or had reviews that said that their cat died from it. I know that not all reviews are true but how could I buy a product that had a review like that for my best friend? I couldn't. This reviews didn't have any of those and I am glad to say that this product did in fact work and it didn't hurt my baby at all. It lasted about 15-20 days. Although I bought a new product to try out, if it doesn't last more than 15 days killing fleas or if I dont like it, then I know exactly which product I will be getting.

Vectra solved our flea problem that no other flea treatment we tried could.
We have 2 cats that were tick free until we took one to a Vet to determine why he was having difficulty urinating. Soon after returning home we noticed that both cats were itching themselves. Close inspection showed that they were both loaded with fleas. We tried every flea medication we could find with no lasting results. One of the substances we tried (Frontline) actually injured the cats and they fought us as we tried to apply it. It wasn't until we discovered Vectra that we finally have solved the flea problem. Both cats rest quietly on our lap as we apply the substance with a handy container that makes for easy application. We apply Vectra during the first week of each month and our cats are flea free. If they could talk, I'm sure they would give their full endorsement.

It works!
My cat had been infested with fleas all over. It took just one day for the fleas to clear up.I asked my vet what he recommended, and it was this brand.Just amazing. I highly recommend it.

Not as potent as it use to be
I used this flea treatment on my cats a few years ago and it was quite effective. The fleas have either built up a resistance or the treatment isn't as strong as it use to be. Now it only fights off fleas and ticks approximately two weeks before they start biting again.

Doesn’t work as well as it used to
I’ve used Vectra on my cats for the last two years. I usually only need to treat them every two or three months. This time, within two weeks the fleas were back. It means I’ll have to find another brand i haven’t used before, because maybe the fleas are becoming immune to Vectra.

Fleas have developed resistance
Vectra worked for about 6 months on my cat but this last batch has not had any impact on the fleas. I'm finding flea poop everytime she lays down and her scratching hasn't eased up in the week since I applied Vectra. I always wonder if I just got a bad batch the first time one of these chemicals quits working but these products are so expensive I won't waste any more money trying this one again.

WORKS!!
My one cat out of 3, attracts fleas like I've never seen before! ! This is the 1st flea killer ingredient that actually works on her. She has a short, very thick coat of fur. I'm so happy and she is too! No more scratching and tearing her neck up because of those dang fleas!
