If you want to pivot mount a big, heavy set, this is the one.
I used this mount to install a 50" 2008, Panasonic, plasma set. That monster weighs about 100 pounds, and it has VERY wide mounting hole spacing. This bracket accommodated the wide spacing with no problem and was adjustable enough for me to perfectly fit the set exactly where I needed it to be; 3/4" ABOVE an ornamental, electric fireplace, and yet 2" BELOW an overlying A/C vent. The mount is STRONG. Placed with the supplied lags into the bearing wall studs, I could hang on the primary arms, and it wouldn't even flex (I'm about 165). The monster, anvil heavy plasma hangs on at the end of the secondary arms with hardly any deflection whatsoever. I wanted a final, 3.5 degree downward tilt, so I preset the mount at -1.5 degrees, and with the set hung, I wound up with final of -3.7 degrees; basically perfect. If you have a heavy set that you want to wall mount securely, but still have the option of multiple viewing positions, and you can affix to either studs or solid masonry, this is the one to buy, especially if there is a wide mounting hole spacing on the back of the set. Compared to some other mounts, this may seem a little pricey, but it's an investment which pays dividends in peace of mind. That set is safely secured.

This is a great mount. I mounted my 60" Vizio
This is a great mount. I mounted my 60" Vizio. The bolts that come with it are for use with wood studs that are 16" apart. However, I have steel studs that are further apart so I bought some wall anchors and they worked great. To use with a steel stud you just drill thru the sheet rock and the steel to make your hole and install the wall anchor into that. Make sure you get some beefy anchors. Mine are rated at 110lbs. For the anchors with no steel in the wall these worked just fine.

Went up fairly smooth and holds the weight easily
Picture is a bit misleading. I thought it would smaller than it was. Also he tilt up and down is rather limited to what my expectation was. Not really full motion. My Samsung 4K required longer bolts that I had to purchase from a hardwares store. Went up fairly smooth and holds the weight easily

Good for heavier TV screens
Works well on wall TV for bedroom, didn't hear my husband swear very much when installing it!It IS really heavy though, compared to the Sanus brand. Good for heavier older TV's assuming you can find the wall studs. If your TV is one of the new, light models I'd recommend Sanus instead. We got that brand for our den.

I liked the paper template to help with installation
The mount is very heavy duty. I liked the paper template to help with installation. The instructions seemed confusing until I started actually doing the install. The mount works well. I mounted the TV over the fireplace and it came out good.

Quality Wall Mount
This is mount is solid & have no complaints about the quality or durability. This thing is built to not fail. I bought this to mount my Vizio M47ia2 now with the expectation that I would get a larger tv later this year. My issue is that it is rated to fit a 47" tv, however, it did not fit my Vizio M47ia2. I bought this mount to go in an area I just remodeled with the expectation that I would upgrade my tv later this year when new models came out. The the brackets were about 2 inches taller than my tv & it just looked terrible. I ended up buying a smaller mount that did fit...so much for future proofing.

Great Mount. Really Solid. Easy to Install. Clear Directions. Very Happy!
This mount is the real deal. It is really solid. Great product, I rarely write reviews and I am very happy with this mount. I like that it really doesn't look like a mount in the back with the mounting shape which will allow me to install the cable and power management box much easier then other mounts out there.
