EXPERIENCE DOLBY® 7.1 SURROUND SOUND WITH CLARITY AND PERFORMANCE POWERED BY KLEERNET'S STRONGEST 5.8GHZ SOLUTION AVAILABLE. HEAR THE DIFFERENCE THAT PROFESSIONALLY TUNED AUDIOPHILE-GRADE SOUND MAKES Set Contains: 1 x A40 Inline Mute Cable [A42] Review: Work great - These are exactly what I was looking for. I never had the original cord so I can't compare them to it but I did order the a50 cord by mistake and in order to mute my mic I would have to hold the button which is not what I was looking for. So I found these and got them. The mute switch does work and keeps it muted and also gives the indication when it's muted by turning the lights red on mixamp. Some reviews on here say it doesn't turn theirs red but it definitely does with mine. Definitely overpriced as the ones on Astros page say $9.99 but they are unavailable. I would definitely order more if need be. The only thing I don't like is in order to mute it you have to slide the piece as opposed to just clicking it. Not sure how the originals work. Hopefully that slide piece holds up Review: Works perfectly - I bought this as a replacement to another replacement cord that sucked. Now I know why I have to go with the original manufacture, because a lot of these other cords don’t last, this one does. The quality is impeccable, it’s very durable and the sound quality is perfect. It is the perfect length And I feel like it will last probably even longer than the OEM part. The in-line switch does accidentally get muted sometimes so make sure it is not before freaking out ## Features - Competitive Gamers and Livestreamers - PRO QUALITY AUDIO - SUPERIOR FIT & FINISH ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00JUFXOXQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,634 in Audio & Video Connectors & Adapters | | Brand | ASTRO Gaming | | Brand Name | ASTRO Gaming | | Cable Type | AUX | | Color | black | | Compatible Devices | Headphone | | Compatible Phone Models | Compatible with smartphones, specific models not listed | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Female | | Connector Type | Auxiliary | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,254 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 5.8 GHz | | Frequency | 5.8 MHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00817161010843 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Shape | Round | | Manufacturer | Astro Gaming | | Model | 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 | | Model Name | A40 Inline Mute Cable [A42] | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 5 | | Other Special Features of the Product | High Speed | | Part Number | 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 | | Recommended Uses For Product | gaming | | Special Feature | High Speed | | Specification Met | EIA | | UPC | 817161010843 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ASTRO Gaming - **Cable Type:** AUX - **Compatible Devices:** Headphone - **Connector Type:** Auxiliary - **Special Feature:** High Speed ## Images ![Astro Gaming 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 A40 Inline Mute Cable - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51q7eL+tjVL.jpg) ![Astro Gaming 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 A40 Inline Mute Cable - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41F+RdxIBeL.jpg) ![Astro Gaming 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 A40 Inline Mute Cable - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41j8IQHRQvL.jpg) ![Astro Gaming 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 A40 Inline Mute Cable - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/510HVTb-HjL.jpg) ![Astro Gaming 3ACBL-HBH9X-807 A40 Inline Mute Cable - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41g2PVJ4iVL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this inline-microphone-mute cable work with any headset/earbuds with a microphone?** A: No, the one side of the cable is unbelievable large and only fits this headset. **Q: Do you need a mix amp to use this? Or can you also plug it into a controller?** A: If your controller has the 3.5mm jack in it then yes it will plug in and work. You just don't have the ability for volume control/eq settings. **Q: Is this a genuine astro factory sealed product?** A: Genuine yes. Factory sealed? You will have to see the individual sellers and the conditions they list the product in. thanks **Q: Is this a 3.5 mm** A: Hopefully you purchased this within the 5 years you asked from, but yes, it is 4 pole (shorter) 3.5mm to plug into your device and 3.5mm 5 pole (little bit longer) to fit into the astros. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work great *by D***O on January 25, 2023* These are exactly what I was looking for.
