Trek7 Aqua Armor Fabric Waterproofing Spray for Synthetic Fabrics, 16 Oz

Works amazingly. I bought a parka jacket to get through the winter, and the jacket was soaked through after being outside for 20 minutes. Did exactly as instructed, and its now waterproof. I did spray it outside, let it dry, and then threw it into the dryer on high heat. I knocked it down 1 star because 1 bottle was barely enough to cover the entire jacket. I had gotten through most of jacket, with only part of the back, 1 sleeve, and the hood left to do and the bottle was empty. Had to get creative and ball it up and rub the remaining areas on the already sprayed parts.

This product is activated by heat and it's suggested to use a hot iron to activate it......kind of hard to do on a nylon motorcycle jacket. I tried using the hot setting on the dryer, but it didn't work very well. Some areas the product is working, but not in others....I couldn't get the dryer hot enough, Some of the product was tumbled off inside the drum before it dried on the jacket . I was thinking of using a heat stripping gun, but I'm afraid of melting the jacket. I can't find an acceptable way of getting the Aqua Armor to dry and activate on something that can't be ironed. A hair dryer just doesn't work well. I will try a non water based product next time.

I ordered this product because my granddaughter's raincoat that we had bought about two months before was not staying dry anymore and it was waterproof. So, I looked online and saw this product and gave it a try. It worked perfectly, her raincoat is keeping her dry and I applied it to my raincoat, too. There is no odor and it dries fast, also.

This product definitely delivers. Right after I treated my raincoat with Aqua Armor we had a day of driving rain and I was completely dry. This time last year I could not say that my coat protected at all ....even though it is a rain coat.

The Aqua armor goes on easily. Dries over night. And is ready to go. I haven't had any major storms since applying the protectant and the furniture is under a roof on the porch. So, I cannot speak to longevity. I am happy so far...

I used it to waterproof my motorcycle cover. It worked great. Had rain one night and not a leak one. There was even water standing in one of the folds but did not seep through.
