NOT PRESERVES!!!
I ordered these for my husband who loves watermelon rind preserves. But these are not preserves, they are watermelon rind pickles.

These are NOT preserves. They are sweet pickled watermelon. They have vinegar.
First of all, I like sweet watermelon pickles. But I can buy such locally (Old South brand) at several places. I was willing to pay more and get these large jars because they are labelled as preserves which my grandmother used to make with a stick of cinnamon in each jar - so good. So I give it the reduced rating NOT because they aren't good, but because they are mislabeled and not what I thought I was buying.
