Great lights. Good selective light projection. Significantly lower heat production than the halogen alternatives. Totally worthwhile.I had surprisingly had one die after four months of use. The other is still going strong.

I purchased these lights because I was looking for a MR16 replacement for my range hood. These lights are longer than the original bulbs causing them to stick out from the case.

I got mine in Daylight White 6000k, 2 in a set. It easy to install , just take out your old bulb and put in this new one and easily fits. It lights up 500 lumens of light which is bright enough to cover a regular size bedroom. This should be an energy saver and environmentally safe. Its good to know that I am doing something to save the environment as well as saving money. This light has a nice and unique design and looks well made. It’s great that more GE10 bulbs are becoming available as LEDs since LEDs offer several advantages over incandescents, most significantly energy savings. These are a good choice if you’re looking for an accurate daylight white light temperature.The build quality feels very solid. I can’t tell if the casing is all plastic or part plastic and part metal, but regardless, it has a very durable feel. The connection posts are firmly attached without any wiggle whatsoever. The lens cover is crystal clear, and has a nice silver surround to it. That’s important for me since the bulb faces are exposed in the fixture I have them in, and it makes for a nice appearance.The light output is excellent, both in terms of quantity and quality. The brightness of these 5w bulbs easily matches the 50w incandescent bulbs they replace. I’m especially pleased with the light color. These are for an interior hallway, and I wanted a bright, daylight white. That’s exactly what the daylight white version of the bulb provides – a very cool white without any trace of yellow. (They also offer bulbs with warmer color temperatures should a cool white not be what you’re looking for.)The bulbs fit just fine into the fixture even though the bulb length is slightly longer (about ½ inch) than the incandescents they replace.Zero complaints. Excellent and accurate daylight white color temp, solid build quality, and it only uses 5 watts to provide excellent lighting. Highly recommend.[Sample provided for review]

The media could not be loaded.  The Lotus-Led (2 PACK) COB 5 Watt Dimmable MR16 GU10 LED Bulb is s much better than a standard GU10 bulb. This is a 5 watt led bub that is equivalent to a 50 watt halogen bulb. But after I installed it and compared it next to mine halogen bulb, this was brighter and did away with the yellow cast that a standard halogen bulb gives. Plus you can touch these bulbs when they are lit, you cant touch a halogen bulb because they get really hot. I also noticed that this gave a wider beam so it lit up more of a area. Not only do you get brighter and more light, but you will be saving up to 80% in energy costs and these last a lot longer than halogen bulbs. The other feature that sets these apart if these are dimmable. I received these at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I've been having trouble finding LED replacements with small enough heat sinks for the fixtures in my home. These fit with no problem. Another reviewer claims this will lessen their life. We'll see. I also see someone claiming they run hotter than halogen. There is no way. Halogen will burn your skin off seconds after turning them on, these just get warm to the touch. They come on instantly and the dimming is fantastic, no blocky steps. If I have a criticism of the bulb, it's that I feel like I can detect the flicker of it, but I'm really sensitive to that, and it isn't bad. I recieved a sample for review but opinions are my own.
