We bought this for a teacher present (my daughters favorite subject they covered was weather).We opened the package to make sure it was still in one piece and see how it looked. This arrived in one piece, it has very secure packaging.This was smaller than I imagined, which is my fault for not reading the measurements. The size is probably a good one for a teachers desk though. The design is very simple and elegant.After opening this both myself and my daughter decided we need one for our house as well. I cannot speak for accuracy, and honestly it is more of a cute trinket/talking point more than anything.We were very happy with our purchase!

The crystals in the class have not moved with the weather. The water & crystals look the same on a clear day, rainy day, and on a winter stormy day. The directions say to allow 1-2 weeks for "crystal stabilization time", and we're going on the 3rd week with no changes. Maybe there are other brands that work? I bought 3, one to keep and 2 to give away as gifts, but I may be returning them unfortunately.

I bought 4 of these for Xmas gifts. They are fun, however the one I kept seems to be different. The crystals in the water seem fine, however there are crystals outside the water that are stuck all over the inside glass. There seems to be no way to get them off. It certainly takes away from the way it looks.

Pretty classy box, quality item. I read the enclosed pamphlet...please hire me to correct your mistakes. It somehow "cheapened" the otherwise quality presentation.

This product never changed no matter what the weather was. Waste of money and embarrassing as a gift.

Really cool gift. So far it has been accurate and my science nerd husband really liked it as a gift!

What a crock! Complete waste of money.

I bought this for my husband For Christmas. Unboxed it and the crystals were stuck to the side of the glass. We put it on a ledge to watch it as we were expecting weather changes . The weather changed but the crystals remaining the same. Nothing changed in the glass. Would not recommend.
