Great for Watercolor and Small Detailed Work
Pros:- Lovely Case- Affordable- No loose hairs- Keep their Shape- Great for detailed workCons:- NONEI am not a professional artist. I am a Fashion Design student and use these in my sketches :) I am reviewing from my perspective of quality for what I need and what I expected of the brushes.I am a Fashion Design major and I got these because I thought they would be a good upgrade compared to my current, cheap brushes. I was very pleased with the case they came in, it's small and compact and easy for me to take with me. I mostly use my brushes with watercolor, specifically watercolor pencils by Prisma. I have played around with them a bit using them in my sketch book and I have noticed a big difference compared to my other brushes. There were no loose hairs coming off on my paper (I had this issue very badly with one brand) and the brushes kept there shape after long amounts of use and blending.Most of the tips are smaller so this will be good for others that do small detailed work such as my fashion drawings. I had no issue with stray hairs like some of the other reviews have noted and because my work is just fashion 'sketching' I don't need extremely high quality and expensive brushes. Compared to the cheaper ones, which I had to buy so many of that they probably cost more than just buying this set, these brushes are fantastic.I would highly recommend them to my Fashion friends.I received this item at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.

Very nice student grade set
This is a nice set of student grade paintbrushes. They're short-handled watercolor style brushes, and the range includes some of my favorite shapes like a tiny round brush, a cat's tongue, and a fan brush. They've been very well selected to give the painter lots of size and shape options within one set. The carrying case actually has room in it for lots more brushes, a water pen, and any other small items you might want to carry.I wouldn't place them in the artist grade, the tips aren't as precise and the bristles are not as well aligned as artist grade brushes, but it's a nice student set. Sometimes even those of us who are brush snobs need a "cheaper" set for work that's a little harder on our brushes, and this would be a good choice. They are a nice soft with a slight firmness imitation sable. I've never used real sable because I don't want any animal to be killed for my "art" so I can't make that comparison, but they are similar in texture to the other imitation sable brushes I've used.I received this free or virtually so for product testing and review. 10 synthetic sable brushes that work like the real thing
These are very nice brushes. They come in a nice zippered case that is packaged with bubble wrap for added orotection. ALL the brushes come with protective cover over bristles. Personally I wish all brushes did. There are a variety of sizes and types. *see attached picture for details* The handles feel good in your hand as there is a nice thickness to them. They perform like natural Sable brushes, without the cruelty to animals. They soak up lots of water, which makes it awesome for watercolor use. There aren't any loose hairs, which is great.These are great for many things, be it art, painting nails, faces, or anything else you see fit. Recommend these brushes for anyone at any level. Great for a beginner or student
My 16 year old started to dabble in painting recently. He was very excited when I gave him this brush set to try. He likes the fact they they had short handle so they're easy for him to control and that with the case they would be easy for him to carry around.I received this item at a discount for my honest review.
