I Like Simple this is Not
I used X2 for about a month upgraded to X3 and used it for a short while, but when I bought a Presonus interface it came with Studio One and love it. Haven't touched Sonar X3 since, save your money.

Great software
I have been a long time user of Cakewalk and this release is simply amazing. The default sounds are lush and so many your music will find a new voice.While I do miss a few functions from my older version this release has me hooked.If you are new to songwriting and production in a home studio or an old pro you will find this application is powerful and yet pretty easy to use.I would like to see a better audio editing tool but what a great appCheck out any of my work on my site [...]Enjoy

Sound Wizardry From Sonar X2
I used Cakewalk Home Studio, then Sonar X1 which I had some problems with, but now with Sonar X2 Cakewalk has a winner on their hands. The variety of sound accomplishments, fantastic editing, and many new effects and features encourage creativity and make working with music exciting. Perhaps I'll graduate to Sonar X2 Producer but for now Sonar X2 Essential is all I need, & more. I work with keyboard and voice primarily using Sonar X2 for my editing.[...]
