I hear you must be careful. Don’t over voltage.
I hope to have some time to play with this product. I’m going to use this for very low frequency work. No time at the present.

Edit: Needs several to do anything
Edit: The terminals were VERY corroded (no permanent damage to the device) which indicate a charge is held. While thick house wire were used (14 gauge ) these must require thicker cables. That there was not a spark when I touched the terminals together was not an adequate test as there are oxides on the actual wires. This is 2.8V not even 12V so it will be more difficult to get a spark. For now I will rate it 5 stars until I have conclusive results.-old review-Very pleased with the price so I got two over a month period in January. Finally got around to charging it for some spot welding, connections were correct, voltage was well within the 2.8V - watched the amperage on my bench power supply drop slowly, waited for an hour and connected the leads - nothing. It's been two months since I bought it - now I'll just spend the extra and get a Maxwell. I'll update this when I test the other one.
