I bought these after all the great reviews. They arrived on time. The colors are great and pretty...but I tried it on a two glasses and then poured a drink and as soon as the glass began to sweat, the colors started to bleed and smear. I used the black to write and let it dry for a few hours. As soon as I went to pick up the glass, my hands were covered in the ink. Cute idea, but I'm so disappointed.

This is a very nice set of chalk markers. They are closer in size to regular markers with a tight fitting cap. I like that the cap also stays on the bottom of the marker so it doesn't get misplaced while you are using it. There is also a small clip on the cap for securing in a pocket.The colors of the ink in this set is about the same as the others I have tried, nice and bright. One thing I happily discovered is that this set was so much quicker to set up than the other chalk markers I have used. Just push down on the tip to release air, replace cap, shake to mix the ink, then press the tip of the marker down onto a piece of paper to let the ink start flowing. The ink starts really fast in this set, within a minute start to finish,...others have taken as long as 3 minutes to get started.These markers look great on just about any surface, and as long as the surface isn't porous, will wipe off cleanly with a damp rag or paper towel. When not in use store these tightly capped in a horizontal position.The kids love them for drawing and crafts, and I do too! They are nice to use on wipe boards, mirrors, tiles, and even poster board. Put a couple kids in front of the bathroom mirror with a few chalk markers and watch how much fun they have drawing mustaches, glasses, and jewelry on their reflections! :)There are 10 brightly colored chalk markers in this set (actually 8 bright colors, the other two are black and brown), they work excellent and are so much fun to use. The tips are even reversible so you can choose a chisel tip for drawing and coloring, or a pointed tip for outlining and writing. I am hooked on chalk markers now. Absolutely love these. They are very easy to use. You can use them to write on a variety of things, from windows to paper. I like doing crafts with my grand daughter when she comes to visit. I am looking forward to using the liquid chalk markers when she comes out next.These would be great to dress up wine glasses on your next girls night party. You could right something that pertains to a certain person for each glass, put them on a table and when your girl friends arrive, you have them guess which wine glass pertains to them. It could be a pass time boyfriend, dog name, highschool nick name, etc... So much fun.Having a football game? Like to decorate your vehicle windows? With these chalk markers, you can do just that.If you have any vinyl labels, you can write on the labels with these chalk markers too. Label your canisters, tubs, and much more. I have had so much fun with this chalk marker set. I’m posting pictures of a few of my designs using them. I think I got all the colors other than black on the board so you can see.First, they took about a minute a piece to prime and get ready. I followed the instructions, but it took a bit longer than they said. It’s only supposed to take a “couple of seconds” to get the ink flowing, but it took more like 30 seconds. No big deal, I just want to let you know so you’re not frustrated. The tips are double side. Chisel side is angled. So you can use the tip for details or hold the whole edge against the chalkboard for a thick line. I like to hold it flat against the board and not turn it on corners. That way when I’m writing letters the down portion is thick and the side parts are thin. So like a “T” would have a thick line down and thin cross. I hope that makes sense. The Round point is just all around easy to write with.Using them is very simple. Press to get some ink on the tip and then write/color away. All of the markers worked perfectly except the blue. For some reason the angled/chisel tip didn’t work well, I flipped it around to the rounded tip and it worked perfectly. I recommend that one or two more tips be included in case one gets frayed or doesn’t work well. Just a suggestion. I am docking half a star for this.The color selection is perfect! I never felt like I was short a color I needed. The pens are easy to hold and use. I have kept them stored in the box horizontally and haven’t had any problems with them leaking or drying out. I’m sure with some time they would dry out though. I will definitely use them all up before that happens. They erase easily and quickly with a tiny bit of water and a paper towel. My final rating is 4.5 stars, but I’m rounding up because I definitely “love” them more than “like” them. I was sent these to test and review, that has no bearing on my rating/review. This is my honest opinion of them. I want to share with you a few things I’ve learned over the last couple weeks playing with the chalkboard pens.Advice:• Pinterest: I made a chalkboard board and have a ton of pins to look through for ideas. I found so many amazing ideas on there. There are some good lettering pins that show you letter by letter, uppercase and lower case, how to write in cool ways. There’s also a ton of design ideas, banners, boarders, corners, ect. I am not creative at all, so Pinterest has been a lifesaver.• Make mistakes: Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You can always get a Q tip wet and wipe little imperfections off and not have to redo your whole board. You also have to be quite patient and have a bit of time to do an in depth design. My WipeOut Run one took about a half an hour. I just turned some music on, looked up some ideas and went for it.• Color: Play with different colors and combos. These 10 colors (9 for me since my board is black) can give you so much variety.• Use your board frequently: Not only will you get better at using your chalkboard pens, but you can have a cute way of adding text to pictures. I look through old family pictures and think “I wonder what year this was taken” or “what grade was my daughter going into in that first day of school picture”. This is the perfect way to write that down in a cute way! Right now my board has the “Summer Fun 2015” written on it and I just pull it out when I’m taking pictures of the kids and it’s an easy way to be able to see when/where/what event a picture was taken for. Not only that, my daughter LOVES helping me design and make signs, it’s not a mother-daughter project. We got a small/medium square chalkboard on Amazon for $10.
