Westmark Cherry and Plum Stoner/Pitter

Purchased specifically for my wife to use, she has carpal tunnel and is kind of petite. We have Italian plums which are a more oblong shape, she really likes it and says it works well. I used it a few times and it worked for me also, the plums need to be semi-firm meat. Does not work as well when they are super ripe. 4X blade setup always finds the pit and pushes it out, so perfect for making jam. We like the jam with the skins IN.

Excellent quality, easy to use, will accept large or small fruit. It's metal with rubber non-slip feet, the only plastic parts are the spring loaded plunger and the actual fruit pitter rod. Both are sturdy but I wish the pitter rod was also metal.

We grow beautiful plums. Juice squirted everywhere, then 90% of the meat came out with the pit. I was left with plum skins and a huge mess to clean.
