When Gary Poppins says "chipotle," the company means it. High octane spice, incredibly fresh and minimal ingredients, and the perfect recloseable container for keeping kernels crunchy, this is an intensely delicious popcorn that delivers on the heat and full-bodied flavour of chipotle peppers. As a pepper fanatic, I love this offering all on its own, but others with more sensitive palates may choose to mix theirs with the Poppins' white cheddar flavour to douse the fire. Phenomenal flavour and a great value for the quality of corn. I'll be back!

I've been experimenting with quite a few of the Gary Poppins flavors. This is a company that's evolved quite a bit since my first taste from a waxy bag in a local shop.This bag keeps the goodness inside nice and fresh.Creamy Dill is slightly disappointing. With more saltiness than dillyness, and not much to give a smooth that would translate as creaminess, this is good, but not great, popcorn.If you love popcorn, give this brand a try. In purchasing through Amazon, the bags have been consistently better than the tins, for whatever reason. The cheese corn is decent, and they have a terrific kettle corn as well as caramel.

If you like the 'bite' aspect of ginger, you're in luck with this popcorn.Gary Poppins is a small business in Illinois that has certainly grown over the past few years. My first taste was from an overpriced waxy bag, stapled shut, from a specialty grocery store. It was a cheese corn that had great flavor but so many hulls it was barely edible.This much newer offering is not nearly as hull filled, and it is one of the many interesting flavors available.This is popcorn with that familiar peppery snap of ginger, sprinkled with black sesame seeds for an interesting look and an out of the ordinary taste.While not nearly as impressive as the incredibly good Sumatra Cinnamon, this is worth an honorable mention.

This is a mix of half caramel corn, and half (what appears to be) caramel corn coated in cinnamon. So much cinnamon that those kernels may actually have a slightly more chewy texture. But it doesn't come off on your hand.The caramel half is quality stuff, as Gary Poppins usually is -- not your typical "Cracker Jack". The cinnamon was occasionally a touch overpowering, but we still enjoyed this mix. The kernels aren't hard, and there were no unpopped ones in the bottom of the bag. And it's low in fat.If you are a serious, hardcore fan of cinnamon, you may give this five stars!

Gary Poppins, you have finally exceeded my expectations!After reviewing a number of Poppins' popcorn offerings, the bag I have just consumed (yes, the whole bag in one day, if not one sitting) was pure joy.Sultry and exotic Sumatra gives me some of my most favorite coffee beans, and also offers a complex warm cinnamon with a snappy bite.The astringent dryness of the cinnamon is perfectly balanced with sweet butter. The crunch of the coating gives way to tender fluffiness, exactly what one longs for in a sweet glazed popcorn.If you are the sort that likes a good caramel corn, and/or likes cinnamon, splurge on a bag of Gary Poppins Sumatra Cinnamon.

What a delight this Sweet Madras Curry popcorn is! Imagine a kettle corn that has a perfect balance of curry spices.Ever have a curry flavored item that had a 'dusty' astringency? It usually happens when too much, or a low quality of turmeric is added to the blend of spices.Not so with this popcorn!Full, rich flavor without being overpowering or too sweet.Not a lot of cashew pieces, but still a delicious mildly spiced snack.

This is really good stuff. Strong tasty flavor, thick sugar coating -- but not too thick -- and not sticky. Imagine Cracker Jack, minus the peanuts, double-glazed and then dipped in delicious coffee.It's a decent size bag too, and ours had almost no hard or unpopped kernels in the bottom.We got this discounted because it was near its expiration date... the regular price of $6.50 seems a bit high for popcorn. But at least you can taste it in the product. Low in fat, too!

Yes!When I first ordered this, for some reason I was expecting a mild 'coffee and cream' type of coating.This stuff is like a shot of espresso with a lump of raw sugar!Dark and rich without being overdone, no hydrogenated fats, and the best part...two of my favorite things, coffee and popcorn, married into one tasty snack. I suspect it's a sugar glaze with instant espresso powder.If you love espresso, this is a fun product to try!
