- Saxophone Harness is a three-point support system. It can transfers the entire sax weight mostly to shoulders, no stress on the neck. – You will be comfortable when sitting or standing, since it doesn't slip away because the shoulder handle and the abdomen rest are made of slip resistant material –It looks great, especially designed for all performers. It is small as a sheet of paper when folded – It can be set quickly and easily: swing both shoulder handles up, pull out the telescopic slide, rotate the abdominal rest, ready. – It can fit for nearly all the saxophones like Bari Sax, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Soprano Sax even Bass Clarinet and Bassoon. By the time many performers complain of chronic neck pain, there may even be damage to the cervical spine. Saxophone Harness is a three-point support system. The whole weight of the sax is transferred onto the two padded shoulder handles with assistance from the abdominal rest.

Not so hot for shorter players
The idea is very good: Take the pressure off your neck, without the inconvenience of a complicated harness.I deducted one star because the instructions were in Chinese and French, not English.I deducted a second star because of what I consider to be a design flaw. There is an adjustment to raise or lower the metal arm that goes to the chest rest. Unfortunately, the shortest you can make it causes the rest to be too low. I am 5' 10" and it winds up just below the bottom of the rib cage. I would like it to be higher, but I can't get there. For someone say 5' 6" or even 5' 8", this will be a problem, as the chest rest winds up on your belly.Otherwise, I had no need to make any of the other adjustments. My tenor saxophone is well supported and playing it has become easier.

100 times better than a neck strap
This definitely takes the strain off your neck by balancing it between your shoulders and stomach. I prefer this to a normal neck strap as I was in a car accident last year which messed up my neck so this relieves a lot of pressure while playing. I do wish the next track was longer and the clip was metal instead of plastic but other than that it's pretty good.

Great for arthritis sufferers!
I bought this for my husband because he has developed arthritis in his neck and finds playing his sax painful. When I gave it to him he was skeptical it would be comfortable. He was so happy after using it the first time because the weight was distributed to his shoulders and he didn’t have any pain in his neck. Great product!

Does not work well with a tenor saxophone when played in the usual position.
While I can see and feel what the harness is supposed to do, I was disappointed to find that it did not relieve myneck and shoulder pain when used with my tenor saxophone. After making, what I believe are the proper adjustments, I find that the harness does not hold its position. It slips off my left shoulder and must be readjustedfrequently. However, when used with my alto saxophone with the horn played in front of my body, the harnessremains in position and, therefore, works well.

Good harness
I'm new to the tenor sax and its weight choked me to death. This harness really helped my neck and shoulders. I get more playing time and not getting tired. Feels very comfortable.

Support for Young Sax Players!
Excellent support system for Young saxophone players! We got this for our son, there are no directions with it - that would be nice thing to add - in assembly but it is pretty simple.
