Double vinyl LP pressing. Original soundtrack to the 2014 motion picture composed by Hanz Zimmer. Interstellar pairs the creative forces of Zimmer and esteemed director Christopher Nolan, who collaborated previously on The Dark Knight film trilogy and Inception. "Chris wanted us to push the limits," offers Zimmer. "Every conversation was about pushing boundaries and exploring new territories. This movie virtually dictates that you put everything on the line and keep the laboratory doors wide open and experiment to the very end. It tested our limits: the limits of what musicians are capable of, the limits of what could be recorded, the limits of everyone's stamina, commitment and invention, and I think we got it."

Powerful yet emotional score
I love Hans Zimmer. And after listening the soundtrack several times and rewatch the movie again, I appreciate it even more. His score add the drama and the emotion to the already excellent movie. If you like a good science fiction movie, buy the movie and the soundtrack. My vinyl version is the import version from Music On Vinyl, a pressing company based in Netherlands. You will know if guy get this version because it comes with a very thick PVC plastic outer sleeve and a sticker describing the soundtrack and the label says At The Movies. Buy this version. Their product is way better than the locally produced one. A lot quieter, which is important for listening to this soundtrack because so many of the songs have quiet in the beginning or the middle and you won’t hear the annoying clicks and pops,

Perfect for any superfan
I bought this for my dad for his birthday (this is his favorite movie) and I don't think he has listened to anything else since July. I'm pretty sure he sets aside like an hour every day to listen to it and envision the scenes in his head. Anyway- VERY well packaged, and the side a/side B's on the album itself are labeled in morse code which is a really cool and fun little detail. Also came with a lot of info on the ost in general if you're a big superfan like my dad.

Great Sound, Huge Variation in Volume
This record is unreal, and super satisfying. The only heads up isn’t the sellers fault, it’s the recording itself. Everything on this record sounds great, but if you think you can’t hear it, WAIT, don’t turn it up. There are cinematic parts that are quiet, and if too loud too ok behind with, can overload your speakers.

Subtle and powerful
There are a lot of songs I didn't recognize from the movie, but all were great. One in particular, likely the one that drew you to this soundtrack, has a very long lead into the crescendo and is very satisfying. There are some parts with thundering noise (not loud so much, but actual thunder), so if you have dogs, there will be barking.

Excellent score only made better on vinyl
Interstellar marks one of Hans Zimmer's crowning achievements. The vinyl is a glorious rendering. No reason to make this longer than it needs to be: if you enjoy film scores and love vinyl, this one is a great addition to the collection.

Magnificent
Verry beautiful looking vinyl. Not the sound quality I expected but still good quality for me it may be my speakers but the physical vinyl itself it flawless. And if you look closely on the inside rings of the disk there are little quotes on each vinyl such as "the end of earth will not be the end of mankind" which i found a very nice little detail.

Exactly what I was looking for and at a nice price!
I was on the look-out for the new improved release with the extra tracks! What MegaHit Records sent me was what I was after!!! The release by "At the Movies" on 180 gram vinyl, a 4 page picture insert with lots of movie info, and a very nice PVC thick outer sleeve. Everyone is looking for the 10th track being "No Time For Caution" which was omitted in the original vinyl release. This "At the Movies"press is the Limited Edition and includes that track!
