Ease of installation and works well.

I installed this on my classic car. I drive the car a few times in the first month without issue and then I was out driving recently and the valve failed and left me stranded on the side of the road. When inspecting the valve it was very hot. Once I was safely back home I tested the valve and it was completely dead. I tried contacting the seller through the Amazon website and they did not respond. Looks like I'm out the money I spent on this thing.UPDATE: The seller did finally get back to me but was unable to explain why the valve failed. They issued me a refund. I really like the idea of the valve but if I don't have 100% faith in it I just can't use it.

Three times I had to change the oil and filter in my motorcycle due to leaky, sticky float valves. The needles would stick and flood the cylinders with petrol and after soaking overnight would fill the crankcase and tailpipe with fuel as well.Bought this and installed it between the tank and the carbs and no more issues. And now I can sleep at night knowing the there is no fuel flowing in the system.

It has been very reliable and has never failed, even with a dead battery thrown into the mix on the vehicle it's installed on. With no DC power going to it, it's in a naturally closed position. It's flow through design makes installation a breeze and it doesn't interfere with the pressure regulation or flow or limit fuel flow in my carbureted vehicle. This fuel shut off is standard on some bucket trucks. It controls the fuel for the generator. Works aweome

I used it to make an electric petcock for my motorcyle. I have it on a switch so I can shut fuel off prior to turning the bike off. In my case I was having trouble with fuel filling the carb bowls while the motor was off causing a flooding issue when trying to start back up. Will try this as an alternative before tearing the bike apart to rebuild the carbs. Seems to be well built. Power keeps the flow open. No power and its closed. Doesn't matter which way its wired. I did use some sealant around the threads just as a precaution for leaks.

Installed on a Cub Cadet 782. The tractor has a Kohler KT17 engine. The carburetor float needle valve didn't full seat one-day allowing gas from the above-mounted gas tank to gravity feed raw gas into the engine filling one cylinder full of gas. The gas tank has a cut off valve but a side cover has to be removed to operate the valve. Installing this electrically operated valve with a toggle switch on the dash turns off the gas without removing the tractor's side cover.
