These towels are very dense, rather than soft-to-the-touch. That’s what makes them so wonderfully absorbent. I did wash them several times before the first use (without soap and NEVER use fabric softener on towels). I also machine dried them after each pre-wash. The lint screen was very full the first few times they were dried, but this is typical of cotton towels that are not pre-washed before sale.I bought 2 sets three years ago and they are holding-up beautifully. One hem of a bath towel came slightly unstitched about a year ago, so I simply repaired it.I wanted to purchase several more sets, but sadly…they are currently unavailable 😕

They washed up and dried up beautifully. They are soft, absorbent, and look very nice. Buying washcloths is tricky sometimes, what you see is not always what you get. In these you do!And the price was reasonable.
