The range doesn't appear to be very good however. I can't get signal from inside my (plastic) mailbox with it even with a new battery. **Q: Does this work with cox home life is it 2.4 ghz?** A: We have not tested the device with Cox Homelife, so it may work with system as it follows the ZigBee protocol. However, we can not guarantee it. Thanks. **Q: Does this sensor work with the Wink 2 hub? Thanks.** A: it didn't work for me, not sure if I got it right. It is appears to be well constructed, it is very small, so it allows for more options with regard to placement - the tab on the magnet can be removed to make it even smaller. It also has everything you need to mount it. Most importantly, it is very responsive; this is key when driving automations off of it. It paired very easily with Hubitat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Door sensor for smartthings *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2015* I received the product and it paired right away with smartthings hub. I then tested open and close functions and it worked just great. I'm going to get a few more now that I have seen how small and light the product is. The led are hard to see which is my only issue with the sensor.UPDATE: Just received two more for the back door and door to the garage. Again no pairing issues with smartthings and work like a charm. Again I like the small size of these sensors. They are light so you can attach them with double sided tape. They claim a 5 year battery life so I'll update in a few months if that's not the case. The steps I followed were to unbox the sensor. Open up the case. Remove the plastic battery shim at which point the led light will come alive. I then followed the add open/close sensor in smart things and picked NYCE Door/Window sensor. It then said searching at which point I pressed the button on the sensor a couple of times and the message on my phone said found sensors and asked me to name it. After that I tested that it would show open and closed by bringing the magnet piece next to the sensor. I closed it up and applied double side tape that came with the sensor and stuck the sensor to the door and carefully placed the magnet to frame . So it was a very easy install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars These work great and were easy to install *by R***D on Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2021* I bought these after my Wyze contact sensor bridge died. They're a bit pricey but they work well and pair easily to my Hubitat Elevation hub.
