Convenient and Effective
What makes this product unique is that it's instant, already dissolved and quickly absorbed, and doesn't come with any unwanted ingredients like you'd find in a pre-mixed sports drink. I'm not a fan of pills, so having a concentrated liquid electrolyte replacement is great. If I want a precise measurement, I use the cap, otherwise, I eyeball a squirt, which works out fine. I've been mixing this in with my peach tea flavored workout beverage on my gym workouts (up to 3 hours) and hikes ( 3-5 hours). The flavor (2 caps per 750ml) is barely noticeable, but does add a little zest, if anything at all. Replacing salts is also a great relief when rehydrating after a night of drinking, so it's good to have this on-hand for those tough mornings, in addition to my workouts.

What I Need
I have POTS, I have taken salt stick pills but I prefer drinking it for whatever reason. I was really excited to see more products on the market. This is much more convenient then mixing up my own concoction.

Elixalyte liquid is an easy to use electrolyte source for endurance athletes
Great product for endurance sports. I have used the Elixalyte on long runs and interval runs. The taste is pleasant. It is easy to use and keeps me well hydrated. I've been a long time user of the Salt Stick capsules. It is nice to have another electrolyte alternative from a stellar company. The electrolyte composition has been well thought out. It works!

Not great tasting
It has a weird sort of bit lemon flavor.

Great for performance and recovery for athletes and more!
Great for replacing key electrolytes lost during exercise. Convenient bottle, easy to open. Small, effective serving size. Mixes well with flavored drinks and juices. Double sealed so no worries of leaking or spilling during delivery. Currently training for NYC marathon and I use before, during and after long runs for added performance and recovery!

Hard to drink water without it!
I use this additive to increase my sodium levels for low blood pressure and to give my water an electrolyte feeling/flavor so that it is easier to drink. It definitely helps with both. It's difficult to drink water without it or some other flavor added (and because of low blood pressure I need to drink a lot of water!)

Works well with no sugar and no gross taste!
Been looking for a electrolyte drink without a sweetener and that chemical you normally get, finally I have found one that works and doesn't taste horrible ( this tastes slightly lemon juicy, and not fake or chemical tasting either). Great product, I will continue to use this per my Dr's recommendation.

For hydration it doesn’t hurt, but pricey
I am a hardcore bike commuter, riding 40 miles round trip as often as possible, so I can ride anywhere from 40 to 200 miles a week, ignoring any weekend pleasure riding. Consequently I sweat a lot, no matter the season. I have tried another brand of electrolytes and I liked them, but the price was hard to justify. I also don’t know if it made a difference. Certainly made the water more flavorful and was without sweeteners, which tend to upset my stomach, but I’m cheap so I stopped purchasing it. Since I could try the SaltStick brand with Vine it was worth it to request. The bottle is much smaller than expected, but that is not a negative and on me since it clearly lists the volume. Dosage is listed as 5ml per 500ml water, so around 24 servings per container. I used it approximately twice as dilute, and found the taste tone barely noticeable. Just a slight salt tinge to the water. Can I say if it definitely made a difference in my ride, no, but it doesn’t hurt to replace some salts with all the sweating I do.Negative to me is that fact that it contains xanthan gum and sodium benzoate, a preservative. The former sometimes upsets my stomach, although not in my use of it (so no reduction in rating), and the latter I would generally prefer to avoid. Note that benzoate is approved by the FDA, but something to keep in mind.So while I am not sure this represents a bargain (that I’m cheap should be remembered) given its cost, it may work fine for you. For me, I will use the bottle but not purchase a replacement.
