Since then we have upgraded to a more intermediate tier paddle but these are still around for friends and family to use. They seem to be pretty durable compared to other beginner or family sets. Very lightweight but solid with a large sweet spot for control. The rubbers are thin so they play more direct but I gravitated toward more of a spin style. I would recommend these for anyone looking for decent quality in a beginner set but if you're serious about getting into ping pong, you'll probably want to go for a higher tier paddle.

These ping pong paddles seem to be made well for this price point.
