super usefull carving disc very good for the price ,i can control it from super delicate carving to agressive ..i was using my rasp and file but with this disc is super faster and smooth ,you have to pay attention to what you are doing one simple touch in your skin and wont end untill the bone ,and you have to be very patient because if you go faster than you should you will screw your work. i made a bow handle from A to Z just with this disc and sanding to finish,i know is small but i tested the disc in a tree log and do very good ..only thing is that i had to buy the flange kit for this disc because the flanges in my grinder doesnt fit this disc and i am super happy .with this disc .the graff or similar and some flapp discs you can do so much better .

Bought it for my dewalt grinder, the arbor hole fits but the retainer does not fit in the wheel recess so i cannot use it.

Just do not let this thing get away from you and keep the location of your local ER in mind. A beautiful tool, but it could really do some physical damage in a hurry. This should not keep you from buying and using, just keep a very firm grip on your grinder motor ... Capiche?

You will have to do some modifying to fit your grinder. hole size is a little bigger than treaded shaft on grinder there is two mount size"s 5/8" or 7/8" the bore on disc is slightly bigger than the 5//8" shaft on grinder. could cause some wobble also you have to use the 5/8" mounting I made a thin washer with a 7/8" bore same thickness as grinder mount showing in photo order wise the surface on disc would be resting on the top of 7/8" ring on mount not to good running at 8 to 10,000 RPM's see photo's also mounting nut W/5/8" treads will not fit in recess on top side of disc had to cut down a 5/8" nut to tighten down disc if you don't make the nut thinner it will touch surface of wood lifting the disc up while using. After having it ready to use Am quite satisfy with results. Now we will see how long the disc last.
