Unbreakable Smile

I first discovered Tori Kelly when Taylor Swift re-tweeted the cover of Bad Blood by Tori and Miranda Sings. (That's also when I discovered Miranda Sings, haha!) I loved the cover, and was very impressed by the vocal talent of Tori. I then did some more research and watched a few more of her videos. After her album came out, I looked up on Wiki to see if she's also writing (or at least co-writing) her songs, and when I saw that she co-wrote every single one of her songs, I instantly bought her album. I have a hard time buying albums from artists that don't write their own songs, I don't know... that's just me. I just feel like I'm able to make a connection with the artist, through their lyrics, if they're written by them, you know? Anyway, love this album!

why wouldnt anyone love this album!? Tori Kelly has the voice of an angel! shes gorgeous and plays the guitar beautifully throughout the entire album. Theres a great mix of pop, soft rock, country and hip hop influences while still keeping in touch with her cali swag. She is without a doubt the next big thing in music! If you dont have this album you will be upset when all your friends are talking about how amazing it is and you are left running to the computer to download it. Dont get caught in the dark and buy this album. you wont regret becoming a tori kelly fan.

Absolutely love her voice. She is so amazing and her riffs are at the top or equal to any singer in the business. This CD is full of Tori and it's beautiful to hear. She's fearless, open, soulful, sexy and rockin in her choices and style of songs. Her Title song Unbreakable smile is 100% Tori with her amazing smile and fierce determination. Her duet with Ed Sheeran is sweet and soulful. Should Have Been Us is Tori rockin with that amazing voice and range! And Nobody Love, wow, what can you say but we love Tori Kelly! Nothing comes close to her live performances but you can see what a beautiful, accomplished singer she is on this CD.

So I saw Tori on the Radio Disney Music awards and her song Nobody Love was great. I thought how have I not heard this on the radio. Well I bought the album and discovered why. Tori's searching soulful almost desperate voice came through wonderfully but whoever she is sampling in the song just doesn't belong there. It's too bad because the song without is great. Several of her other songs on this album were quite good but didn't seem to hit the emotional notes. I'll keep looking for a "pure?" recording I guess.

Tori Kelley sang Nobody Love on the 2015 Billboard awards and I was hooked, ordered her album and waited for its release. After first play am convinced she will be a big star one day as she has a hauntingly beautiful voice. On one track, "Funny" she is live with just a guitar and great lyrics that really hold your attention and make you think. I love this album and recommend it highly to anyone that appreciates female singer- songwriters with a message and a ton of talent.

I have been a Tori Kelly fan since her EP Single Dear No One and I must say, this is a valiant effort at her first album and she did exceptionally well. Though, her album is more POP than R&B, she's able to intricately blend her Pop roots and her love for R&B together so well. This is a must have album!!!

WOW. I don't often buy new music from an artist that I don't know much about, but after seeing her on a morning talk show I had to buy her album. This has got to be one of the best music purchases I've made in years. Every single song was amazing, even after my first listen, and by the second time through the album I was already singing along. She has a voice directly from the gods!

Amazing! Her voice never gets old. It's so genuine, straight from her soul! Even though she's doing falsetto, it's the sweetest, but still powerful! Her vocal control rivals only Christina Aguilera, and is just as gritty when it needs to be. And her vocal range is incredible! Also, all the songs are different, and equally catchy, but it's hard to overplay them. If there was a 6 star rating, this album would get it!

Was expecting great things form Tori after hearing her sing "Don't you worry 'bout a thing."Unfortunately I feel that this compilation of songs is distinctly average and there is nothing that really stands out. In fact on one or two tracks it seems like she is experimenting with Rap music.There is no doubt she has a great voice but there is little here that shows it off.Perhaps it will get better with a few repeated listenings, but for now I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed.

I wouldn't normally buy this type of album as it's production is a bit contemporary pop for me. But this girl has a special voice and needs the recognition she deserves. I prefer the stripped down tracks with just voice and guitar. She co-writes most of the material which is always good and her live performances are terrific (Check her out on YouTube) A great debut album with good material. It's just a shame the production has aimed at the teen market when her talent is better than that.

I could listen to Tori Kelly's voice all day but I feel she is wasted on all the pop songs. Her voice is beautifully suited to the acoustic numbers and Ed Sheeran's duet is spot on.Everything else is forgettable. Come on Tori...find the right material for your next CD! You are an amazing singer.
