Thankam Pickles Thankam Pickes Mahani Root Pickle - 500 G

I am currently on my 3rd packet and that explains how much me and my family LOVE this!!! This is by far the best Mahani root pickle. To be honest, it tastes exactly like how my mom prepares!First of all, it's a root. So cleaning, stripping and cutting finely takes so much time. This I have seen from experience. After that, the pieces have to be soaked in red chilli powder and salt. I am so glad that Delight Foods actually ensured that the pieces are chopped finely - just like how my mother does. By god, the fragrance itself will make your mouth water. The root absorbs all the spices so well.Yes it is very spicy. Very spicy. But that is USP along with the fragrance! Best way to eat it is with curd/curd rice. I have it with pretty much with anything - generously sprinkled over upma, along with rice and dry curries, with curd rice, sometimes with dosas too. If you want to minimise it's spiciness, make sure to mix with curd!Don't question the quality. It's top notch. I am really grateful to Delight Foods for making this yummy goodness available. And yes, I am in the process of stocking up!Delight Foods please keep the pickle stock always ready!
