Baracuta Men's G9 Original Jacket

Great classic jacket in Navy and iconic branding and interior lining. Jacket is authentic. I also own a cheaper alternative from ben sherman in sand color size medium. The G9 jacket is better quality (YKK zippers, made in London, superior stitching) albeit not $280 better in my opinion but hey I love them both.I know there are a lot of size and fit questions so I’ll go into specifics for mine here.I’m 5’9 170lbs and I have an athletic/muscular build. For the purposes of this review I have 39.5 chest and a 31 waist. I ordered a 42. It fits comfortable but a little too much material in the stomach and lower back area. I returned the 42 and ordered a 40. It’s a little snug if zipped all the way up the chest almost to the neck. For example if you reach across your body to grab a seatbelt it pulls a bit. But it looks more flattering without the excess material on the lower back or waist. I hope this helps when sizing your purchase. 4 stars because I feel it could be slightly less expensive.

Fits as expected as long as you make sure you follow the US equivalent, not the U.K. Sizes. The first time I was not careful and I ordered too small.

It's a Baracuta G9 jacket. They always fit. They are always in style. They wear like iron. You can wear it nearly anywhere.I wore it to the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum at Dulles and someone actually asked me if it was a Baracuta jacket. The person liked the style. It reminded him of Steve McQueen.

Size runs small, fit as expected. Fine

I'm 6'4", 210 lbs, usually a size 42. Bought a Navy G9 Classic from Baracuta. Took a few days to receive via Fedex. Problem was that my regular size was waaay too tight! Instead of going through the hassle of trying to do an international exchange, bought the next size up 44 on Amazon. Product came fast via Prime and in perfect condition. Even included a nice Baracuta branded hangar! Contrary to one of the answered questions, I did actually receive a Navy colored jacket, even though the image for the Navy looks more like the Dark Navy. I was a bit concerned though since the tag says "Authentic Fit", when it's supposed to be "Regular Fit". It's confusing, but the "regular fit" is Baracuta's modern, slimmer cut, whereas the "Authentic Fit" is their original version with the looser fit. However, after matching the item#s to Baracuta's website, and actually trying on the jacket, i didn't feel as if it wasn't the "regular fit" (slim), so i'll chalk it up to someone mis-tagging it at some point in distribution? All in all, awesome jacket!

It's a baracuta, you can't go wrong. Just let me repeat that they run quite small. If you have a 40-44 chest order a 46 or extra large. If you don't, you'll be headed to the ups store to return it.

Where can I find a white Baracuta Harrington G9 jacket? I used to have a white one years ago. Coolest jacket ever! I would really appreciate and info. Thanks is advance.
