Great Sun Protection
I burn easily but have been looking for a more "natural" sun screen for some time. This is not longer an affordable option for me but I'm glad I tried it. It did offer protection from the sun. However, it was very thick and not easy to spread. Glad I tried it though.

No burn or skin irritation, but did tan some
I will buy this again. Things to note, my daughter got more sun using this than my son who uses California Baby. She has used CA Baby but after several days she's gotten mild skin rashes, but I would choose that over a burn. I decided to try something different for her and found Tender Sprouts. It goes in similar to CA Baby, thick, but it's ok. She has absolutely no skin irritation after a week of consistent use while at the beach. However she got a lot more sun than my son, but no burn. I reapplied often for both. She does have more exposed skin than him since he wears trunks which could be some of the reason too. They both wear swim shirts. Given she did not burn and had no rash I will continue to use this on her.

too expensive to keep up with and hard to apply
I do love that this has absolutely nothing in it that I have to worry about putting on my 15 month old son. However, I don't think I'll buy it again. The tiny tube will run out fast, and I can't spend $14 on 2 oz all summer long. He's also very squirmy and hates getting sunscreen on, so the thickness makes that a lot harder. I worry about the coverage with it being so thick too, the more spreadable it is, the more covered I feel he is. I've been using this as a base layer before we go out, since it's easier to get on him at home. But once we're out, I use Target's version of coppertone water babies.

Don't hesitate. Great product!!!!
Due to an autoimmune disease, I have no hair on my head. I am of German and English descent, so I am about as "pale" as they come. I don't tan, I only burn, or if lucky, turn splotchy pink. I bought this for my new baby girl, but tested it out on myself first. I mowed the yard for about an hour, full sun, over Memorial Day weekend. The next day, I weeded and mulched for at least 4 hours. This was also my first measureable amount of time in the sun this season. I was sweating profusely both days. I applied this product only once each day on my head, face and arms and I can now say this product worked PERFECTLY. No irritation. No burn. And it rubbed into my skin pretty darn well. I have ZERO complaints. This is worth the money. I will continue to purchase as long as they continue to manufacture. I am not a fan of commercial sunscreens, as their chemicals make me question if the constant increase in skin cancer is actually due to sun exposure or their products. But perhaps that is just the conspiracy theorist in me. **And I was NOT compensated in any way for my honest review**

The sunscreen works great but I wont be buying it again for a few reasons:1. Too white - I am tan and I couldn't rub it in enough, so I just went around looking ill.2. It doesn't come off easy - Spent 10 minutes trying to get it off my toddler who was not too happy about that.3. The ingredients separate in the tube - I had to squeeze it all out in a mason jar and stir it.

Shake before you use
The up side is that this is a safe product with a short ingredient list. The down side is that it’s separated and milky liquid comes out if you don’t shake hard before you squeez and it’s not easily absorbed. Badger is soooo much better.

It's perfect for the baby
Organic and natural, congratulations for that. It's perfect for the baby. But for me it is really white on the skin. I learn how to use it in a way to minimize de white effect, with some makeup just for to adjust the color. I think it is still better than use another chemical sunscreen. Provides a very good sun protection. The water just don't mix with the other ingredients, I shake it very well and the water still goes out (money going out...). Its not grassy.

Does the job and is good as a strictly mineral based sunscreen for my little one's sensitive skin. However, I don't *love* that this is $14+ for 2 ounces of product!! I'm a huge proponent of "you get what you pay for", but I this is a bit over the top for me personally. Badger and other brands at least give you more for your money.
