Cell phones are nothing new and I am always looking for one that will adequately protect my phone, maintain button and jack accessibility, have a bold look, have a kickstand, and make the phone easier to hold. This case hits all five areas.PROTECTION:While other cases are drop tested for a greater height than this case at eight feet, I have never dropped my phone from a height greater than four feet. While it may be enticing to have a case that will protect a fall of 15', I have never needed that.BUTTON AND JACK ACCESSIBILITY:A concern with every case is how functional the physical buttons on the side of the phone will be and how accessible the charging/headphone jack is. I am very pleased on both fronts. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the volume buttons and on/off button match up perfectly. The charging jack is also spot on.DESIGN:I am a fan of minimalism and this phone case is that to a T. A solid bold color (I chose red) with no extra designs/curves/intents that don't add functionality. It is a very smooth surface and, if you wanted, can easily add a stickers to the back to customize it. After all, stickers are the current trend to self expression when it comes to laptops and water bottles and coffee tumblers. Why not add a phone case to the mix?KICKSTAND:Utilizing a kickstand is a non-negotiable for me. When I was looking for a case, it had to have one. But I am always looking for one that will last with heavy use. The stand slides on a simple groove that is molded into the plastic. I am a big fan of the simplicity hoping that the less complex it is, the longer it will last. A big plus for this style of kickstand is that it can be used horizontally and vertically. I find myself using both options, equally.FINGER LOOP:Pop sockets are a very popular option when it comes to holding a phone but it's not one I wanted to use. I am a fan of the hidden finger loop located under the kickstand. It is a plastic loop and very durable. The question will be how long the slider that both the kickstand the finger loop use. Only time will tell.

Love this case. The stand is sturdy in either landscape orientation and in portrait. It opens and closes with a satisfying “click”. I’ve dropped the phone a few times and the protection seems top notch as well.But it does have a couple of downsides: qi charging is really hit and miss, it only works about 30% of the time in my experience. And it’s really tricky to open one handed.

i like the texture, and it’s a pretty solid kickstand. so far i’m enjoying it!
