Someone should have proof read this book and checked the correlation between figure numbers in the text and the actual figures. Also, steps were left out in the instructions and I only made it to the first chapter so far. Delivery was fast.

Though the text in this book was obviously written by a non-native English speaker and doesn't appear to have been edited it is a useful reference book to keep on hand for specific tasks or a quick memory refresher. I also bought a full-blown text book to work through and don't plan on using this book as anything more than a quick reference guide. If you are a complete beginner (like me) I would suggest getting a real text to work through and learn. In a classroom that is pretty much what you do. Get assigned chapters and work through them.

Okay for a quick and dirty introduction, should be half the price
Okay for a real quick and dirty introduction, although full of typos, errors, etc. Doesn't seem like any one edited this book. Maybe it was written by a 6 year old non-english speaking child??Slightly better than "AutoCAD Electrical 2015" title but boith books are pretty crappy.You are better off using the online help and going through the regular and Electrical Tutorials that come with AutoCAD/AutoCAD-E.

Easy to understand and good material for trainers
A very nice cookbook for using AutoCAD Electrical. I think other reviewers were too quick to access it. Based on few typos, you cannot judge a technical book. I find it very easy to train my students in 2D electrical as well as 3D electrical through this book. There are very few books that can make students learn by themselves and this is one of them.

If you have never used AE16 then this is a good book to start with
Having flicked though the book and looking at the index, I found it did not have the information I wanted, If you have never used AE16 then this is a good book to start with.I have used AE16 for a while this did not give me the more complex solutions I was seeking. There is a need for more info on the indepth controls and functions of the software.
