Amazing Herb
I have two skin cancer spots that have almost completely vanished after I listened to Elsie on "The Power Hour" with Joyce Riley. I found Purslane growing on the property took an 8oz glass of reverse osmosis water dumped it into the blender threw in a handful of Purslane and blended it up until it was all liquid then poured it back into the 8oz glass and drank it down 2 - 3 times daily and WOW talk about amazing things that have been happening God is good!Genesis 1:29 ¶ And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (KJB)Ezekiel 47:12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.(KJB)Getting healthy free Gods way, we just have to learn how to tap into Gods Pharmacy!!! :)

Not a book to trust
I recently ordered this book about purslane, the herb. I wanted to find out about how to grow it and how it could be used. However, the book was not at all what I expected. Save your money. The book is a discredit to purslane, even though I believe this herb can possibly have great health value. In short, the book is an advertisement for the author's own health products. The author also states that there are four things that cause illness: "parasites, heavy metal, bacteria (viruses), and blockages (also known as hardening of the arteries)." The author claims to be a "medical intuitive" and can "read" [see] what's going on in the body. Here's a short quote from the book: "I read him and found a bacterium called campylobacter in the stomach and formaldehyde in the bowels. The bowels were 20 percent inflamed. The liver also had campylobacter and he had Candida in the bladder caused by fomaldehyde." So, for many health issues, the author has her own "Protocols" mostly using "Purslane unscented deodorant" [No, I am not making that up!] Just to add one final quote from the book: "On the third day, spray Purslane Women's Deodorant (two sprays) on the back of both ears for two weeks." In summary, this book has a few good things to say about purslane that are mostly true [and can probably help some health issues], and also does a good job of describing the nutrients in the purslane plant, but says nothing about how to grow, harvest, or prepare the herb once it is harvested, and has a flimsy and questionable presentation of how the herb can be effectively used as a remedy.

Purslane is truly amazing
I've been using Purslane for 10+ years now with amazing results. I used to take all kinds of different herbal supplements but after I discovered Purslane I stopped bothering with all the others because Purslane is so effective.I thoroughly enjoyed finding out more about this miracle plant that has been the source of improving my health and energy levels as well. One of the most amazing things to me was to learn how Purslane has been used for thousands of years on every continent and she sites a long list of researchers who are rediscovering the miracle of this plant. It never ceases to amaze me that each culture was recognizing similar benefits from the plant, long before such modern analysis as we can do today. For those who prefer the scientific way there is the results of the analysis with the value per 100 gram. The book is also filled with her protocols for cleansing the body or for targeting specific diseases or issues. She also gives all kinds of testimonials. After my Dad had a major heart attack we had him on purslane and he (non believer though he was) remarked how much better he felt right away and had more energy. We were truly grateful that we had the good fortune to know about Purslane and I am hopeful that more people will benefit from it and the years of research that Elsie Belcheff has dedicated to it.

Very good information
I found this book very interesting and factual. There were lots of examples of how purslane can help you and the positive effects it has had on people. Very good reading indeed.

Absolute Nonsense.
There is no information on the plant , Purslane , in this book that is credible . There is about one and one half pages that tries to list the nutritional value of the plant and the rest of the book is a promotion for a misguided lady -" Based on 13 years of extensive study"- which is her own crazy study on health "conditions " and her nutty recommendations.I do not know of anyone that recognizes a "Medical Intuitive" in any capacity - this is a misleading book that should not be in anyway a guide for any medical condition and certainly any course of treatment. There is credible information which explains the nutritional components of the Purslane plant in other books. Disregard this book . It is full of Hooey.
