Great flow, great lyrics
This guy is way more talented than most of the rappers here in the U.S. I was looking on the internet for more information on this guy, and came across another rapper who dared to use his name ... what an insult! After only a few seconds of listening, I realized the American Gloc-9 is a fool compared to the real thing. If you don't speak Tagalog natively (I learned it as an adult), you can keep up with some of his slower stuff, like Hinahanap ng Puso. On other tracks, like Ipagpatawad Mo, you have to really try and keep up, because he flys through the lyrics. He even took the Christmas song, Pasko na Naman, dressed it up, and made it into a track you could listen to in the middle of summer. The cool part is even if you don't understand everything he's saying, it flows so well that it doesn't matter! Beyond that, he has real vocals and good music backing him up, not some tired fake drum machine...

From the eyes of a whitewashed Filipina
Gloc-9 is faster, hotter, and more talented than any given rapper in the United States. Period. For those of you who are like me and don't speak fluent Tagalog, this is not a CD you want to blast in front of Filipino grandparents unless they have a good sense of humor.
