This is great little product. Very small, and so many applications that make this dock useful.Works perfectly well with the USB C port in my laptop and cleans up my work desk wonderfully well meaning I am unable to unplug just one cable for when i need to be on the move.The only issue I found was that the HDMI and VGA ports would not work, but the customer service team kindly told me that it was my model of laptop that did not support video output from the USB C port. So my advice is check your laptop USB C output specifications if you intend to use for video (can be sorted using a USB to HDMI/VGA converter).Overall, a nice product and does not get overly hot even when most of the ports are in use.

I have bought the same item last year April'2020, The device stopped working recently, since its less than 1 year. I contacted the seller - LareraDirect.The seller asked me to send video and image.Later, the seller emailed me, saying "It may be used for a long time, and there will be a certain amount of loss, which will cause it to not work".I requested the seller, to send a replacement device because it is not stated in the description as "Dont use for long time". There is no reply from the seller.Any one who is buying, Please BE AWARE, this device wont work if you use for "LONG HOURS"

I bought this because I'd maxed out the usb-c connections on my Macbook Pro provided by my work and I wanted to switch to using a wired network connection for more predictable video calls with my colleagues.This adapter has allowed me to free up two usb-c sockets on the laptop and allow me to connect some of my PC peripherals to the Mac as well. I'm using the other native usb-c socket for a usb-c connection to my monitor.To date, it's delivering everything I need from an adapter of this kind. It's got plenty of expandability left too so I have no complaints at all.In summary, it's great value for money, and does what I need perfectly.

I bought this so I could connect a monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and external hard drive to my Windows 10 laptop so I could use it as a desktop when at home. Everything worked fine until I bought an upgraded (1080p) webcam. The camera simply would not work when plugged into this dock but did work when connected directly to the laptop. It turns out this adapter has bandwidth limitations when too many items are connected. The adapter is excellent for the price but you may find limitations if you connect too many bandwidth-heavy devices to it so be aware of that before you purchase.

I brought this about a month ago, and have only really used it properly for the last week.The device has now stopped working and I am really disappointed as it costs a bit of money to.Now I just get a message saying 'Power surge on the USB port' whenever I plugin this device into my windows laptop and a similar message when I plug it into a mac laptop.The device worked really well, when it worked, and I would have given it a 5 start otherwise. However, it has now completely stopped working after only a month after purchase. :(

Connected to Microsoft Surface and managing without any problems VGA to old monitor (also works well through the HDMI), Ethernet, keyboard, mouse, a writing tablet without any speed / delays issues. Also sometimes have external hard drive plugged in and occasionally charge a phone. Product works really well. I bought this after a different product looking similar would not support the video properly so sent the other one back.Only downside is the leads on these things are always short and leave the product hanging out stresses on the socket on the Microsoft Surface.This product plus a separate short USB-C lead is the best option so it can then lay flat without only the additional lead needing to plugged in / out.

I only tried a few ports and SD card so far, but they all worked OK, and the passthrough power too. Only one negative point is that the cable is short and very rigid, so when used in the USB-C port of a horizontal tablet at an upright angle, the device does not lie flat on the table/desk. No big deal really
