They're like A/C for your butt!
I used it as a passenger on our last trip from PA to SD that we did in 2 days so had to do over 600 miles each day to make it. They were comfortable but since I had never really gone that far or long without them I didn't really know if they made a difference.......Until we took them off once we got to Sturgis. Since we were only doing rides within the area, like the Badlands, Iron Mtn, and around the Black Hills I said to take them off, well, the first day out riding I sweated and immediately said they were going back on for the rest of the trip - it's like A/C for your heiny :) Plus I'm sure being able to move around to different pressure points made a difference in keeping me comfortable as well.The only thing is we wish there was an easier way to put them on and take them off but I'm very happy with these & will definitely use for future long trips and hot day trips now as well!

Increased Comfort
Some of the beads begin to split and come off of the “web”. Lost 2 beads in first week. Others are splitting too. Otherwise allowed for good air circulation, never had a hot seat. Also helped with water runoff in the rain. Overall a good addition to the bike prior to the 3800 mile round trip.

it adds a nice ventilation to the posterior
I bought this for my 07 Buell XB9SX. All of the rear cylinders heat goes directly below the seat, which makes for an uncomfortable ride during the warmer months. This not only stops the heat, it adds a nice ventilation to the posterior. I would even go so far as to say it made the seat more comfortable, by spreading the weight out and avoiding pressure points.

Good quality, good results.
I bought this for the passenger section of a Victory Vision. The wife can ride much longer than just sitting on the seat by itself. As a passenger she likes it. It really does feel like the seat has air conditioning with it.
