The idea was great and they worked for a bit, but they broke the plastic base on my chair which the manufacturer of the chair replaced, and now one of the wheels themselves is failing so bad it’s at an angle and the others are extremely loose.

Love these wheels! I'm a gamer and have these on my gaming chair. Total experience changer!

bought to replace the wheels that came with my chair they were to little so when I found these wheels I was happy the gave the chair a bit of a lift and they roll over everything nothing has stopped the chair no rug no hair from the dogs getting caught in the wheel highly recommend if you are looking for better wheels for your chair

We just installed a new wood floor in our facility. These wheels keep it from getting torn up! Be warned they not only look good, but also increase the speed of your chairs.

My wood floors at my desk were already severely damaged by my old plastic casters on previous chairs. They also couldn't roll over the carpet, which was important to me because sometimes I like to move my chair to help my mom with her office work which involves me taking my chair into her office. So, I bit the bullet after hearing about these and ordered them.My first impression of them was that they were sturdy. They didn't feel like a cheap rubber and had some heft to them. Installation was a breeze, I just popped my old wheels off and put these in their place! They add about an inch or two of height to your chair. The rolled seamlessly over wood floors. In fact, if you get too much speed going, they'll take you away! They're super quiet as the roll as well which prevents me from distracting myself or my family members while moving around looking for paperwork. They also roll over carpet better than regular casters. You have to kind of pull a little more for them to roll, but something is better than nothing!

I replaced the cheap crappy plastic OEM rollers on my daily work computer chair. I'm about 200 lbs and roll these on medium thickness carpet just fine. I sit in this chair for 8-12 hours a day so they get a lot of use. They seem very durable, heavy-duty, and solid.Im actually pretty impressed at how solid and durable they look and feel. This is not one of those products that you say, "They are good for the price that you pay" implying that you they are not as good as more expensive rollers. I think these compete with the higher priced ones, in fact. These are very sturdy, and they roll smoothly. Far smoother than the original plastic ones on my chair.I give it a 5 out of five stars. If they crap out on me before their expected life expectancy, I'll provide a status update on this review. Ive had these in use for about 1 year at the time of this review.I do indeed recommend these.

Did what it was supposed to do

Installation took all of 30 seconds- these are standardized to swap out with a typical office chair roller. Rolls great. The issue is that if you have already started damaging your floors with the hard casters of a typical office chair, switching to these rollers will help a lot... but if there are existing cracks in the finish and slivers, swapping to these won't stop it. They're not magical wheels.Basically these will help you from damaging your wood floors if you buy them early. If you've already damaged your floors to the point of creating splintering in the finish- swapping to these wheels will at least slow down the damage. If you're hesitating to buy these- don't. Just buy them- they're worth the money, they roll far easier and quieter, and won't damage your floors (or your toes- hurts way less to accidentally roll over a toe with these too!).
