Great cover... too good, in fact.This cover casts so much shade on my game cameras that those reliant on IR technology miss many wildlife shots.Sticking with eyeglass wipes, from Walmart, and anti-fog/cleaner, by Rain-X.

These work great. We have curious squirrels that kept messing with the cameras and these covers keep them off.

These are trail cam covers, not trail cams, so I don't know why Amazon is asking me questions about picture quality, motion detection, and battery life.For what they are, however, they are excellent. Although most trail cams promise protection against the elements, anyone who has used them for any length of time knows that that only goes so far. Eventually, a trail cam will get taken out by a storm. These provide some protection against that.More importantly, they protect against minor aggravations, such as snow covering the lens, rain smudging up photos for a couple of hours before the lens dries out, and so on. They provide a small canopy that diverts the rain and the snow, keeping it from landing on your camera. Potentially, I believe this can increase the longevity of my cameras, and more immediately, enhance the quality of the photos.Before I found this on Amazon, I have been thinking of some way that I could devise something that would serve just this purpose. These do the job, they are reasonably priced, and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
