Three Months Later, still going strong...
Currently using this product to document my school progress. Instructions were kinda suck. HOWEVER, what I have learned and I hope this helps others. These are basic instructions for the Towero glasses:1) There are two buttons, a "front" button (closest to the lenses) and a "rear" button (closest to the charging port)2) The "rear" button is power.Power On: Push and hold power button. Light will flash ". _" and stay on.Power Off: Push and hold power button. Light will go out (if light is on).2) The "front" button is "record"To take a still pic: Push front button. Light will flash once. You have taken a still pic.To take video: Push and hold front button. Light will flash "_ _" and go out. You are now shooting video.I don't know how to turn video off reliably other than to power off the glasses. In my experience, once shooting video, videos will be in 5 minute videos, starting with "MOV000" and ending with whatever your capacity is. If you are not plugged in, you'll get about 6 videos of five minutes each before needing to recharge. If you are connected to power via the port, videos will continue to shoot until you either turn the glasses off or power is removed/expended.Any other help would be appreciated, but this is a starter for those who want to use this product. I realize there are others who have had a problem with quality control, but I guess I got lucky and mine is still working after three months (Bought it back in February -- it is now the end of July and I have a lot of videos now). The glasses are very simple, because the controls and battery are very small. But with a 32gb microSD chip, I have shot up to an hour and a half of video (each 5 minute video is about 1/2 gig, give or take.) but I think I could shoot longer as long as I had power running to the glasses. Any input would be helpful. All in all, I like these glasses -- way better than my camera phone for taking "as I see it" video. I am buying a second pair.A note on the prescription lenses: I DID find a place which can (and did) make prescription lenses for me for these glasses and they work perfectly -- HOWEVER, it took me a lot of searching to find a lab with a technician willing to do it. She did (Linsey Eyecare in Port Richey, FL), but understand that they do NOT guarantee they won't break the "frames" -- they're a bit fragile. They did not break mine and did an EXCELLENT job, but understand that there is some risk in finding someone who is even willing to undertake the project. So, your mileage may vary. Just keep that in mind.Currently wearing my Toweros. With prescription Transitions™ lenses, so they are both glasses AND sunglasses. I could not ask for more.Yes, low light is kinda suck, but what do we want for that tiny lens aperture? The best part about having SUNGLASSES is that in bright light, the video is better than average, and I'm happy with it.All in all, as long as you don't get a defective product and use it with its limitations in mind, I think you should be as happy with yours as I am. Keep in mind my prescription lenses were about 300 bucks over and above the cost of the Toweros...but at the same time, where else are you going to find REGULAR frames for 50 bucks??Update: 08/17/2020Ordered another pair. The pair which arrived had a matte finish instead of a shiny one; Pay VERY close attention to WHICH Towero you order -- the photo indicates which one you will get -- at least, that has been my experience. The matte finish glasses, the shiny camera is MUCH more obvious, although the glasses appear to be higher "quality" and more mainstream looking -- so it's a tradeoff. I personally prefer the shiny plastic ones, as they look more like Ray Ban Wayfarers and the shiny of the frames camouflages the shiny of the camera (makes it look like either a defect or other harmless mark) - so PAY ATTENTION. Both are available here on Amazon (as of the time of this writing). Not saying either one is better -- just be sure to choose which version will work best for you.Further, I ordered TWO more pairs (of the shiny ones, since I had a mishap with my original shiny pair, and one of the two pairs I ordered was DOA. The other pair works perfectly. Understand that in the world of microelectronics, stuff happens; I don't blame Towero or Amazon -- it's just a normal risk. It's inconvenient, but Amazon's return policy with me so far has been top notch and I don't believe it will be any different with this return. All in all, still steady at four stars, as the products, while not perfect, DO what they do well enough for my purposes and my matte pair (which has become my primary for now) still works just fine.As to my mishap: THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF. Don't go to a flea market and let some clown spray his anti-fog glass cleaner crap all over it so it gets into the electronics and ruins them. Voice of experience here. Definitely NOT the fault of the glasses at all -- they're not advertised to be waterproof, and they're not. But, you should be aware and be careful if you want them to continue working. As I've said, I'm happy enough with the product to have ordered TWO more, and even though I'm returning one DOA, after the return clears, I'm just gonna order another pair (shiny) with the refund. All in all, I like this product. Very much. Even with all the little issues I've had to learn about along the way.If this review helps you in any way, you're welcome. I will answer questions as an "experienced user" as best I can, although my own knowledge is somewhat limited.Still not fond of the instructions as they are somewhat confusing, but they are not exactly wrong, either. The glasses do as the manual says. Again, PAY ATTENTION to the manual. The most important "control" feature I can recommend is, while shooting video, if you want the video to STOP, use the power key. You will get a steady blue light, indicating the button press is registered. Then it should power off. To shoot video again, power on, then hold the "activate" button (the button closest to the lenses, NOT the power button) until you get the familiar double flash and the light going out -- then it's shooting video again.I found this knowledge very helpful in my experience, and it's not in the manual. Also, the mic is pretty sensitive -- it will pick up your breathing if you're wearing a mask (We're doing the covid-19 precautions) and you'll kinda sound like Darth Vader. Plan accordingly.Update: 8/26/2020:Return accepted. New pair ordered. I totally forgot something important: CHECK THE WRITE SPEED ON YOUR MICRO SD CHIP!I went on an excursion and had brought with me some cheap 32G micro SD cards without looking too close at them (this lesson learned the hard way, so stay tuned): I didn't realize the write speed was rated at 10mb/s. When I downloaded the videos, I noticed freeze-frames and skipping. However, sound still stayed good.I then purchased a couple of Samsung MicroSD cards from here on Amazon - with a write speed rated at 20mb/s.Been using them for about a week under similar conditions in the SAME GLASSES: No problems.I talked to my computer guy and he told me that I should be paying attention to write speed. He was right. So, in my experience, get the fastest write speeds you can find. I'm sticking with the Samsung.

Good recording quality, very light and easy to use, look stylish!
Many people constantly refer to these glasses as spy cameras or spy glasses, and I'm going to go against the grain on that popular trend. These glasses are discrete and can take quality video images unobtrusively, but they may not fool everyone. The hole for the lens is right in the middle of the bridge, in the front... so you see it if you look the wearer in the eye. So why then do I love them? Simple, they are a wonderful and convenient way to get video recordings of events, get togethers or any occasion where you would normally want to video tape the festivities.Wearing the camera is so much easier than carrying around a camcorder and it is much easier to follow the action by just looking at it. In my case I have very shaky hands and wearing the video camera while recording give me instant stability in the final product. Plus people tend to be more natural with out the constant reminder they are being recorded by cameras that are in-view while being used.Simply put they are excellent for hands free video recording.

Perfect for the Head Mount like POV
I got these glasses for one particular goal in mind, to be able to record hands-free with POV while cooking in the kitchen for instructional videos. The ideal goal is to capture POV like a video that can be edited and put together with my larger videos created for teaching. Think of those cooking videos where you can see two hands on the counter working and you are looking down on the counter being cooked. As for Picture quality: it’s pretty good for a spy camera, of course not a GoPro but for a much cheaper and quicker option this is great. There is no image stabilizer so move slowly when taking a video or stay still when taking still pictures. For audio quality: very loud and clear no muffled noises even speaking. I was able to capture noises of food heating up so that was a good bonus. Unfouratntely, there are some cons with everything, there is no app to manage all this. It would be really cool if I could just access the media directly from an app instead of an SD card but that's just something you get for saving $150 at a minimum to get another POV option. Overall, very lightweight and has a strong camera spot on the bridge which feels really firm.

They do work, and for the price OK.
They do work.Pros:They work, will record video and audio. Audio is actually quite good. Video is not horrible. Now, someone saying not horrible would seem to be a con. But with this class , pinhole camera not badCons:1) Contrast leaves a lot to be desired2) Occasional video hiccups3) Instructions provided do not really match, close, but may be frustrating for someBottom line:For the price, hidden cam in glasses, not expecting world class video not bad. Will play with a bit more. Longevity unknown.

Boy, do I feel dumb... Edited review from bad to good
Originally said:These glasses worked fantastic... for a few hours.Video, pictures, sound... just as I'd hoped, right out of the box. Then I tried them again a few hours later, and WILL NOT RECORD VIDEO, just audio. Still takes photos, so the camera IS working, but NO video.Edit:These glasses record .avi files and my Chromebook would not read the video files properly! If you're trying to watch the video on an Android (or non-Microsoft) device, you have to convert the video to a different format, like MP4!I originally tested them on a Microsoft computer (at work... shhhhhh...) which is why I thought the glasses stopped working when I tested them again at home.I downloaded a free app to convert .avi files, and PRESTO... I can see (and hear) the video!
