Tealights that actually burn for more than an hour or two
I love these tealights! As I'm sure everyone has noticed, most tealights nowadays contain about half the wax, and thus very little burn time, compared to those we were buying only 5 or so years ago. This is a trend, it seems, in almost all products from coffee to canned goods to wine: less product for more money. But these are great! You actually get a substantial tealight that burns for several hours. I've not timed it, yet, but I do notice a huge difference because I have to add more water or essential oil before the tealight burns out (something I haven't had to do with the "new" ones; I'd have to burn two of those before adding either.).They come in a nice box, all nicely stacked and not dumped in a plastic bag, so that's another plus. I did notice that they burn down faster with a ceiling fan on, but that's to be expected and not an issue. Also, these are made in America, and that's a huge plus to me.

Not sure they are Waxations Candles!!!
I purchased these tea lights even though some people complained about the packaging. I received the box in very good condition. The box was sturdy and the candles were packed neatly together with plastic. I ordered from them because they are a USA company. However when I opened the package it had a foreign language writing on it unrecognizable to me. It says in English."Lehavonim Candles for lighting and heating safety" and then there us writing in a foreign language. The outside of the box has no indication this product is made in USA. I feel like they misreprensented themselves. I have left a message with the company. The voicemail had the name if a guy who said he worked for Waxations. For those of you who don't care where you get your candles, I can say these candles burn very clean with no smoke over 5 hrs each. BUT I trimmed the wick half way. This is why I gave it 3 stars. Would be 5 stars if I knew for sure the company is not misrepresenting themselves. I just want to know what is in these candles like lead in the wicks.

Great tealights for essential oils lamp
These had the cheapest unit price and per the other reviews, they burn as long as claimed. I deducted one start because the claimed life only applies to burning them completely in one shot. If you extinguish and relight them, you lose at least an hour of life.

No power in this flame
I was so excited when I received these candles. Nice box, presentation is awesome. HOWEVER, these are the absolute worst tea lights I have ever used. I have a very small oil burner and it doesn't take much for the flame to get high enough to burn the oil. I have now tried three different candles with the exact same result...nothing. I even touched the bottom of the bowl where the flame hits so that the oil can burn and it's not even warm at all. I could place my hand right on it and not flinch. It's the exact same temperature is was as when I lit it and that was three hours ago. I am very very VERY disappointed in this product. If you are using this for anything other than just sitting it in a holder and having it lit for the sake of decoration -- then this isn't the candle for you. I'm so frustrated as I'm over seas and it's too hard to return things and that's money down the drain. I have paid a lot less for candles and have had no issues at all. These aren't cheap and to pay that price, with these results -- truly disappointed.

Manufacturing Flaw: Wick burns off, is too short, Does not burn all the wax in cup
Manufacturing Flaw: Wick burns off and self-destructs as it burns, is too short and the wick plate is positioned to far up in the cup instead of being placed on the floor of the candle cup. As a result this does not burn all the wax in cup. Impossible to relight the wick with one-third of wax still in cup, as wick is too short and burned off to relight.Waste of wax, bad design, bad quality wick. This thing is going back!

Great!
Just what I was looking for. Every one but one so far (and I have used a lot) have come out of the box perfect. (One had a short wick... still usable, but very low flame.) They last a good long time for tea lights, just about 5 hours. The ones I used to buy from a big store nearby would last closer to 3 hours and recently started having quality problems, with some lasting maybe an hour, burning too low and not using all the wax. These have been excellent and a great bargain. Will definitely purchase again! Thanks!

Good price but bad wicks
I'm giving these candles a "3" because I think they have strong good and bad points. The good points are that they are inexpensive, unscented (so there's no chemical odor) and they burn for a nice long time (about 4-5 hours) despite their small size.BUT... the wicks are ridiculous. And that's why I can't give them more than a "3" rating. The wicks are coated in the wax so they take awhile to light. In fact I have to use one match for each candle-- no way I could light several on one match. The wicks also tend to be uneven in the candle (some are too short; some too long; some go to the bottom of the candle; some don't) and as a result every time I light 6 or so at a time, I end up having to re-light several of them as they go out immediately. And they are hard to re-light once the wax has started to melt. I've read suggestions that Richland is a better brand so my next order will be for those.

Safe Tealight Candles!
For the health conscious, these are nice clean burning candles with cotton wicks (although I smelled smoke when it went out). They can be used for many occasions, but I use them in salt tealight holders placing one by my computer. If you use computers at work or at home, or both, then computers may be your biggest source of electromagnetic radiation (EMR). You need the protection offered by the Himalayan salt lamps or tealight candle holders. Although Waxations does not say the source of their candle wax, they do say, " Our experts search for quality wax for a longer and clearer burn, and we use only the finest, purest materials in the making of Waxations products." Also, I found a web site that said they were high-quality paraffin wax: "Paraffin wax is non-toxic. In fact, paraffin is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in food, cosmetics, and medical applications. Food-grade paraffin is commonly used for manufacturing candles."
