Review: Much better then expected. - I received my grandsons guitar today. Beautiful guitar. The finish is flawless. The guitar is what is known as a 3/4 size. You can google that and you will know exactly what I'm talking about. The strings are nylon so, as a guitar player, I know nylon strings are stretchy and take time to break in. Just FYI, Nylon strings usually take about a week before they will stay in tune. However, when I tuned the guitar it sounds great. It has a nice warm tone for my fingerpicking ol' time gospel style. I played it for about 2 hours before I called my grandson to tell him his new guitar was here. The gig bag and strap are of decent quality and the lesson book has a access code for free lessons. The book is sold here on desertcart and is called 'Teach Yourself to Play Guitar: A Quick and Easy Introduction for Beginners Paperback – April 1, 2004 by David M. Brewster'. It's a big yellow book. You can't miss it if you look it up. The neck has a truss rod and comes with a tool, so you can adjust the set up. Mine came in adjusted correctly with a good action so no adjustment was needed. If you choose this guitar, you won't be sorry. Review: I LOVE THIS GUITAR - I am only 12, so this is a starter guitar. I bought it from my local music store. I LOVE IT Pros: Awesome Color Nice Strings Easy To Tune I have no cons because I have only had it maybe a couple months. Some other viewer said they hated it because he thought it was kid sized! NOPE! FULL SIZE GUITAR! Probably for kids 10+ The other guy says it goes out of tune quickly. Nope for me. Just buy a tuner! I am not pitch perfect so that is why I bought a tuner! ## Features - Fashionable, color coordinated guitar and accessories - Smaller acoustic design is perfect for girls - Package includes everything you need to get started: picks, tuning pitch pipe, string winder, instructional book, extra set of strings, gig bag, and strap - "Dual-Action" Truss Rod - 36" Nylon String Design ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00C4RLRCM | | Body Material | Alder | | Body Material Type | Alder | | Brand | Diva Darling | | Brand Name | Diva Darling | | Color | Surf Green | | Customer Reviews | 5.0 out of 5 stars 2 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00843544000637 | | Guitar Bridge System | Fixed | | Hand Orientation | Right | | Included Components | with bag | | Item Dimensions | 40 x 18 x 5 inches | | Manufacturer | LPD Music International Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | DDPKG03GR | | Model Number | DDPKG03GR | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Strings | 6 | | String Material Type | Nylon | | UPC | 843544000637 | | Warranty Description | 1 year warranty. | ## Product Details - **Body Material:** Alder - **Brand:** Diva Darling - **Color:** Surf Green - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00843544000637 - **Guitar Bridge System:** Fixed - **Hand Orientation:** Right - **Manufacturer:** LPD Music International Inc. - **Number of Strings:** 6 - **String Material Type:** Nylon - **UPC:** 843544000637 ## Images ![Darling Diva DDPKG03GR Acoustic Guitar, Surf Green - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61QRISyfLZL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better then expected. *by R***E on June 19, 2018* I received my grandsons guitar today.
