Hose A Matic Wall-Mount Garden Hose Reel - Holds 5/8in. x 66ft. Hose, Model Number 88002

Easy and convenient to use a hose. Pulls out smooth and retracts fast. Looks great on the side of the garage. Now the bad part, the hose is leaking inside the unit and the water just pours out of the bottom. Tried to tighten but it looks like it is leaking internally. Not a big problem because it waters the bushes but annoying that it is leaking. When Fall comes I will open it up to figure out what is leaking.UPDATE: Didn't wait till Fall. Found the source of the leak. Thr clamp that holds the hose in place loosened and put excessive pressure on the quick connect coupling causing it to leak. Took clamp off and undid coupling only to have the inside spring discharge completely. Now have alot of spare parts. Just ordered another , hopefully it is better assembled, will tighten clamp when I get it.UPDATE: April 23,2018So after 4 months of use the quick connect connector cracked and water is pouring out of the unit. Looks like the same kind of design defect. Contacted Northern Tool, no parts available, Infinity Sales email is not working so for the want of a hose connector this product, once again is trash. They give a 45 day warrantee, which says alot. Dont buy, concept good, design has latent defects so product lasts 4-6 months with light use.UPDATE: April 2019- Hose reel has completely failed. Sounds like spring inside has slipped. Only half of the hose will retract. After having purchased 3 of these and all but one has failed, its an annual expense of $100 for a convenience.

Purchase for my son for Xmas but broke after a year all parts are plastic and don’t hold up very disappointed
