If you purchas a helicopter at a local store you may spend more. Returning it will be much easier though.
The box the helicopter came in, looked as though it had been on a shelf for a very long time. There was plenty of dust on the box. I charged the helicopter while I looked over the manual. The manual is very poorly translated. With new batteries in the radio you could hardly tell if the radio was on, unless in a dim room. With the helicopter charged and radio on there was no sign of life on the helicopter. I did what the manual said to sink the radio to the helicopter with no luck. I also tried it 7 other ways with the same results. I have flown several blade models with excellent results. I will be returning this item this weekend.

Too difficult to control
Bought this helicopter for my kids a while ago. It was too difficult for them to control so I put it away. Tried to use it myself after a while and it was too difficult to control for me. Took it outside and what a mistake. Don't profess to be good at this but I lifted off pretty easily. Then it kept lifting to about 50' maybe higher. Then i tried to maneuver it and no matter what I did it started flying away. Got out of range and fell from the sky. Did I mention I was in my neighborhood and not a big wide open field. Could not find it. I imagine it's in someones backyard or pool. My advice, don't buy one. If you do use it in a big field. A really big field.
