Its advanced multi-coating technology significantly reduces lens flare and ghosting, while also increasing contrast and color saturation for stunning images. ## Description Vivitar Filters are manufactured from high-quality solid optical materials. Each individual filter is heat-treated to avoid any rare movement or distortion. Our CPL filters remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass. They also improve color saturation, clarity and contrast. This threaded filter is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. Vivitar's circular polarizing filters do not affect the overall color balance of a shot, and they will provide protection for your lens while shooting. Vivitar filters are perfect for digital SLR cameras or traditional 35mm SLR applications. ## Features - Removes Unwanted Reflections from Non-Metallic Surfaces Such As Water & Glass - Multi-Coated filters greatly reduce lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections - Increases contrast and color saturation ## Images ![Vivitar CPL52 52mm 1-Piece Multi-Coated Camera Lens Filter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51YWpHl4YBL.jpg) ![Vivitar CPL52 52mm 1-Piece Multi-Coated Camera Lens Filter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51KDZ98T4FL.jpg) ![Vivitar CPL52 52mm 1-Piece Multi-Coated Camera Lens Filter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51AHKDubl8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A great value and it works very well *by P***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2015* Recently I bought an $800 Lumix extended zoom point and shoot camera. I didn't want to take a chance scratching the 62mm front lens so I attached this filter to protect it. You can pay a lot more for a UV filter but this one works perfectly and at a cost of approximately $10 it's a great value. The filter is actually 67mm in diameter and it comes with a free step down adaptor. Because the filter has a greater diameter than the camera's front lens the image won't vignette (darken in the corners) even when the zoom is set at 25mm maximum wide angle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect fit *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2023* Works as I wanted. However, it does not tighten in the SX60HS adapter, and I thought that was odd. I understand now! The polarizer can be rotated while it is in the mount. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Very effective *by H***P on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2011* I used it to remove glare from photos and reduce reflections when taking pictures of items in glass enclosures. Very effective. For this price, you cannot ask for more. This filter is thinner than another brand filter I bought.I definitely recommend this filter. It is effective but I did not compare it against expensive Hoya or other filters. For this price, you cannot go wrong. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/16374916-vivitar-cpl52-52mm-1-piece-multi-coated-camera-lens-filter](https://www.desertcart.be/products/16374916-vivitar-cpl52-52mm-1-piece-multi-coated-camera-lens-filter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
