It works great for the price
Easy to use, worked right out of the gate for streaming on twitch and YouTube. I'm using it to hook to my Sony RX100. This is my first capture device. It does get very warm so put it on a tile or something to keep it cool.

Easy use unit for better price than “high end” ones
Seem to be lots of whiney reviews for this, esp as not working with Macs, or re/ frame rate. I haveUsed it @ 4 times with 2 diff MacBook Pros; carries signal well from Sony handycam and older Nikon both with correct mini-hdmi adapter cables. Only issue is unit gets a bit warm/hot on longer shoots but still works fine. So if it doesn’t do true 60 FPS, take the lower rate, can’t really see difference.

Video capture is excellent, but audio sound has a noticeable popping every few seconds.
I was excited to try this product and would of given it 5 stars if it was not for the sound quality. I've tried this on two different PC systems with two different software applications ( OBS Studio, Pot Player) and they both have issues with the sound. The sound has a noticeable popping every few seconds. It's like the sound is clipping, but not because of the volume being too loud. It is also random, as when I record the same video segment over, the audio popping happens in different places. CPU usage is only 9% while recording, and I have it hooked up through USB 3.0 using quality HDMI cables (even swapped them out). I diagnosed this for hours and it's frustrating.UPDATE: I fixed it by changing the advanced properties in the Sound section of Windows for this device. Under the recording tab, change the default format from 44100 CD quality to 48000 DVD quality. Popping no longer present on my recordings!

It's unable to keep the stream consistent. Every 10 sec it skips a sec making video unusable.
I tried to use it for church streaming and initially I was pleasantly surprised. Very easy setup - Plug and play. The over all picture quality was better than expected. However, after I streamed the service I've noticed that it couldn't keep the stream consistent. The issue I faced was that it would skip a second of the sound (jammed the sound) every 10 seconds and making the stream unusable. Especially during the song or signing performance it was a disaster. Unfortunately, I had to return it for refund.

Didn’t work correctly
Product worked when it came to capturing the image however it didn’t capture the image and sound at the same time causing a delay that was in fixable. Unfortunately I had to return it.

It works and it's not expensive
I bought this and used it in conjunction with an aux to HDMI converter so I could stream games from my N64. It worked well for that. I didn't try streaming for a long time or test or any other devices, but I was able to record with no problems.

Gets Very Hot!
Keep in mind that there is no air holes on this device and the main chip gets extremely hot making the whole device hot to the touch. You WILL need a heat sink and/or fan attached to the top somehow. I used very thin velro strips to secure a 50mm large fin heat sink to the top with a thermal pad underneat which works well for the top but the bottom of the unit is still quite warm. I ordered a USB 50mm fan to screw onto the heat sink which should hopefully do the trick. You also need a 3.0 port and very fast CPU in order to capture video @ 1920x1080 without missing frames.Do not use the buffer mode in OSB Studio or the audio will be offsync in the final video. Turn buffering off and the video will be synced properly.

Amazing
I thought i was getting scammed at first for how cheap this was, i was wrong. This little card works wonders for streaming gameplay from my ps4 onto obs and twitch. Looks amazing on stream and runs 1080p/60 FPS like a charm. Recommend for first time streamers like myself, cheapest in the market for sure.
