Poor Instructions/ Fair product for cheap price
This cook top arrived fitted for a propane set up. I imagine that its primary customer is in Europe. Be that as it may, the instruction booklet is not much help. My plumber had no problem removing the nipple at the end of the gas hose and replacing it with standard American threads. But what they do not make clear it that the BURNERS are all set up for Propane use. You have to look in the box to find a tiny plastic bag with "orifices". These are little screw in bolts with holes in them. There is one in the center of every burner. You have to switch out the propane orifices (with tiny holes) for the natural gas ones with slightly larger holes. This was not easy to do, and required the use of a needle nose pliers. Once done the burners work. The caveat is the same critique that another buyer offers. The burners do not all function equally. But that being said, I am a single home owner and, all in all, this cook top functions fine for me. Looks a Hell of a lot better than the 1970's unit we took out, and cleans up easily.

I like the fact that the gas valves will not dump gas unless the flame is on.
This is a very nice stove top that a very fair price but I had to get two of them because the first one was damaged from shipping something broke off the flame sensor in the box.The unit works very nice and the flame is strong on all burners. Installation instructions are poor so you better know what you're doing I had to switch over to propane so changing the orifices was not hard but can be done incorrectly.I also had to take the unit apart from the top and pull the burner assembly out to get a piece of black pipe angle on it because the gas pipe comes straight out the back too close to the wall to get a flex pipe on.The stainless steel on the top is quite thick and can hold a lot of weight when I put it in I had roughly 25 gallons in pots of water holding it down to my quartz countertop while the silicon dried to hold it to the top to the counter. For the money it's a great deal but you need to know what you're doing for sure,,this is not plug and play

Unbelievable product for the price!!!
Unbelieveable price for what you get. Not only is it very sturdy, but it is very attractive as well. I buy several cooktops a year as I rehab homes and I will definately be buying more of these. Can not go wrong with this.

DEFECTIVE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
As a DIY'er, we wasted an extra $150 and have a professional install the stove because we thought we had installed it incorrectly since 3 of the 5 burners would not ignite. The pro. determined that the stove was defective after spending two hours trying to help us out and troubleshoot it so we would not be without a cooktop curing the COVID19 quarantine. I guess that is what we get for trying to go cheap.

Great product, good investment
I didn't like that the markings on the starter and temperature control wipes off so easily. I only used soapy water to clean around it and within 1 week all markings were gone. I used blue nail polish to indicate the starter and temperature. I have 2 burners that I don't use so much so I was able duplicate the markings. Manufacturer needs to use something else that will stand up to the test of time instead of something that wipes off so easily. Aside from that it is a great product.

Pretty darn nice for the price
Pretty darn nice cooktop the top metal piece is a little flimsy but easy to clean the only problem I had with it is the supply line sticks out of the back so it’s very hard to be able to put it in below the granite if you’re putting it in a drop in position but overall it cooks great burners are all real hot much hotter than my previous GE overall I gave it four stars out of five couldn’t be happierActually Got it from the warehouse at a reduced price but it would have cosmetic damage but they’re absolutely was not it was in perfect condition

I love it
Love the look and the ease of installation. Really like the burner options. Stainless isn't the best but still good after 2 wks in the jungle of hawaii. Really like the functionality of this stove top. Cutout sizesize a little strange compared to my 30" cooktop I replaced. Initially the fitting from the regulator(from my old cooktop) was a challenge to acquire as I live very rural. Ended up ordering it from amazon, lol.

DON'T BUY!!
This lasted less than 3 MONTHS!! The temperature control knobs started losing their marks with the FIRST CLEANING. Now the center burner won't stay on. The gas shuts off as soon as you let go. This is a total rip-off poor quality and SOOOOO not worth the money for a stop that only works for a few weeks.

Great product, great price, great delivery!
Easy to install and works great at an amazing price. We have had 3 gas cooktops over the past 20 years ( two houses) and this is the best one by far. It clicks on every burner when you want to light it which was disconcerting at first but of course that is the system that ensures the gas is turned off if the burner doesn’t light - great safety innovation! Also you have to hold th knob down for 5 seconds before the burner lights - seems like a long time initially but again it is the safety issue of turning off the gas if the burner doesn’t light.. Doesn’t take long to adjust to the 5 second lighting system. Best of all the knobs are substantial and unlikely to break -which was a major issue on all my previous gas cooktops. Each replacement knob on the Philips cooktop cost $80 to replace . Happy customer with this product!
