More than satisfied!
I have owned this cable for a little over 2 years now, it's served me well through 2 iPods; my iPod video 5th gen and 5.5 genIt works perfectly- the sound is a little buzzy with some TV's, but as long as you're not playing classical music it sounds fine- and it ROCKS for playing my tv shows and movies in car for my brothers to see.Simply remember to set your iPod video settings to "TV on" or "Ask" so that it enables the cable to work.To hear music you only have to plug in the cable as if it were a set of headphones, but connected to the TV. If that doesn't work (it always does work) then download some pictures onto your iPod and play a slideshow while the music plays, this will force the AV input jacks to accept the sound because the photos will be detected as incoming video.I have had no problems with this cable, it's excellent quality, and I am SOOOO glad that I didn't have to pay $50+ just to have one!!!!

Inexpensive cables that work well
I've only used them once so far and these are not the highest quality cables but they are great for the price. Once I changed the iPod video setting to TV OUT, I got a great picture and great audio. I did not have any issues with the cables being loose, although they don't give a snug fit like higher-end cables. There are some things I don't like about the iPod, but it is amazing that I can plug this tiny media player into a TV anywhere and watch a movie or tv show from my collection. Every iPod Video owner should get video cables.

Works Great, and not only for "I" thingys
I gott this for the Mrs. after buying a competitors cable. She is very happy with the cable and that it works great on her MyTouch 4G. The length is just "good enough" she says, to reach the couch so it works like a remote. Watching Netflix or playing Angry Birds the picture is as clear as a DVD. For those that know color coded made it TOO easy. and the connectors feel solid not cheap like the other one.

Didnt Work
This didnt work on my Ipod classic. I read the reviews and said just to change the output to tv. So I did and this still didnt work. It was cheap so I thought I would try it. If you just want to see if it works for you, I would recommend just going to a Best Buy or electronic store and buying them there. Its just a pair of simple a/v wires with a plug on the other end. Nothing special. The seller and shipping went great and came on time.

Works with Windows Phone but not iPod
I bought this cable so that I could use my iPod with the RCA inputs on my 2005 Dodge Caravan stock stereo/DVD changer. I cannot get the car stereo to recognize the iPod. The car stereo recognized my Windows phone immediately when I started a song. It played and paused nicely with the Windows phone. It did have trouble at first with the Right channel. I had to wiggle the 3.5mm connection a bit for that to work.I tried multiple iPods: a newer Touch and an older Nano. Both same results. I also tried all the iPods and the Windows phone on 2 TVs with the cable without any luck.I am not too bent out of shape since the cable was less than $4.It would be nice to use the iPods in the van though! The search continues.

Absolutely Useless
This cord has no use. It WOULD be useful if Apple hadn't started building their new iPods so that only cords with a certain chip work. So, if you got your iPod within the last year or so (or maybe before, I don't know how long they've been doing this), this will not work at all. And, rather conveniently (for Apple) the only place you can get the correct cords is from Apple for 50 bucks (I found one on Amazon for about 10 bucks less, so thats a victory). There are two different cords that work, the Apple Component AV Cable (for TVs with blue, green, white, and two red ports) and the Apple Composite AV Cable (for TVs with red, yellow, and white ports). They are both $49 and can be found at the Apple store. If you are on the fence about getting a cord at all, don't waste your money on this cord or the overpriced Apple cords. But if you desperately need one, go to the Apple store.Just one more reason I'm a PC
