Rear Trunk Outer Bumper Skid Protector Guard Plate Compatible with Mazda CX-5 2013 2014 2015 2016

My poor (2015) cx-5 has become the haul everything vehicle for our household and the bumper has taken quite a bit of abuse over the past few years... It has tons of dents and scratches and dings and is just a mess. I've tried to buy quite a few different bumper guards over the years and they either didn't fit correctly or didn't have enough coverage for my liking and they all got returned.After the last trip to pick up mulch at our community center, husband added another ding onto the bumper and my search started back up again. I came across this one. Wasn't a fan of the chrome bits but I bought it anyway. Super easy to install and it covers up every single scratch and dent that I hated looking at lol My bumper now looks like new.It's made of a thick durable plastic type material. Not bendable or pliable, which is fine because it's molded to fit the bumper exactly. It wraps around the outer edge of the bumper and all the way up the sides. Exactly the coverage I was looking for.Kind of an odd thing, but it is a little thick and I feel like the hatch does close more tightly now, but for some reason when I open the hatch after a rain, water drips out of the latch onto my head lolCurrent issue is that it looks like the chrome strips along the edge are coming up on the edge from the heat (I park outside). I can press them back down but not sure how long they'll stay. If any issues, i'll update my review.

Followed all instructions. Thoroughly cleaned off areas to get them free from wax, dirt, etc. Let it dry well. Installed in 85 degree weather in FLA. ( called for at least 77 deg temp)Held it down for a while until it stayed.Didn't drive it until next day.Sides popped out and will not stick back on. It fine in the dry run???Probably can't remove it now without damaging my car or the piece so hopefully someone at your end can give me a solution.

This was a great addition to my car. It covered up all the scratches.

Very easy to install. Nice addition that adds a bit of flash to my 2016 Mazda CX5.Be careful installing. The tape is REALLY sticky.

Looks like its OEM and came with the car...much better than the bare painted surface I had before that was getting scratched.

Unfortunately, my husband was away in a military school when the product came in and was not able to even try putting this on until after the 30 day return window. While the actual product appears to be nicely made it definitely does not fit the 2019 CX-5. Be advised that there is no other recourse if you are outside of the 30 day return window should the product not work for you.

Does not fit as described. Do not get for 2021 CX5. I'm returning this product.

Definitely doesn't fit the cx-5 2019 bumper. Not even close. Sending it back.
