You don't want to waste any of it's active time for tattoos
This stuff really works for getting a tattoo! It has to be used properly though; my tattoo artist gave me some direction, which isn't really on the bottle...1. Apply one hour before tattoo appointment. (If the artist is going to have to spend time drawing your tattoo first, then maybe a half hour before you get there. You don't want to waste any of it's active time.)2. Use saran wrap to cover the area, and tape it on. Make sure it's completely air tight in order for it to work properly. It's very helpful to have a second pair of hands to help with this.3. Let the tattoo artist remove it when it's time. If you didn't put it on too soon, than this should give you 1-2 hours of basically painless tattooing. When I used this, the artist started and asked "How does that feel?"-I was very surprised. I could barely feel anything at all, he might as well have been drawing on me with a pencil!I hope it works as well for you. I'm def gonna use it for my next tattoo. FYI the bottle is really small but should cover most tattoos.

no pain relief at all😜
Didn't work for me ... It definitely won't help fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis or any serious back problems... At least, it didn't work for me for the price...Patients under pain management, this is a waste of $$$

Doesn't numb or relieve pain
Absolutely zero effect from this product. I used this for numbing an area before hair removal, and it did not work at all. The tube is very tiny, so there is not much in it. I tried applying it a couple times to see if it worked if I used more product, but not even the tiniest bit of dulled sensation. I think I used half the tube for one small area. I would not recommend.

Works eventually
First thing to note: the lid on this is obnoxious. It's one of those push-and-turn lids that are supposed to be child proof. Why does it matter? Because the tube is thick plastic that, when you grasp it to turn-and-push the lid, causes the medication to squirt out. It's the consistency of a very watery gel. This stuff is like liquid gold, I don't want to spill a drop, so it's a major flaw as far as I'm concerned. As for the medication itself; it's ok. It's the first topical lidocaine that hasn't worked immediately (or almost) upon application. It kind of stings if you're applying it to something like a mosquito bite. I bought this because I have terribly itchy ear canals and I've used all sorts of medications, both oral and topical and lidocaine is the only thing that stops the incessant itching so I can sleep, work, study, etc. It does take time to work (more than 20 minutes) but it works long enough for me to get to sleep. The price is outrageous though, which is why I refuse to buy any more and found something with the same amount of lidocaine, much bigger (yellow) tube for half the price that works fast.

Doesn't make a huge difference
I tried this to numb myself a little when piercing myself - which might be an extreme example but I didn't really feel much of a difference and it still hurt. Decided to later try it on a bruise which is more of the intended use but that also didn't make much of a difference. You can feel it work but it reduces pain by maybe 10%, and the effects go away in less than 20 minutes.

Amazing!!! Worked great for both piercing and tattoos!!!!
Used to pierce my belly button and tonight for my first tattoo. Put on a nice thick layer, covered with tegaderm so it won't dry out or rub off, waited one hour, then wiped away excess with an alcohol wipe to make sure the area was good and clean. Didn't feel the needle at all with the piercing, then only felt pressure (actually tickled a lil at times lol) until the very end of the tattoo process then just a bit of stinging. This stuff is amazing. The people who say it doesn't work must not be leaving it on and covering it long enough or their skin just isn't absorbing it.

Best customer service with not much expected from the product
I bought it for my hand and it didn't work at all. I first thought it might need more amount or more time to take effect but even after I increased the amount and left it for long time it didn't work either. I tried it on my lips it worked! but this is not what I am looking forBottom line is: very small amount for the price....doesn't work on thick skin areas like on hands (in my case). My recommendation is: Go ahead and buy it!! seriously! with their customer service and MONEY BACK policy no need to be worried if it doesn't work! they simply will just refund you the money back smoothly like what they did with me!
