great holster for the home
i like this holster! i needed a way to hold my gun on side of my bed for easy access with ability for a quick draw incase i need it when a zombie breaks into my house and come for my brain. i have a beretta 92 which is a large gun and it fits into this holster no problem. this holster is adjustable to fit any size gun. i also placed an extra magazine into the holster next to my beretta. for the price this holster is excellent for people who need a place for thier gun on their bedside. i'm going to buy another one for my living room. i want to place another gun on my bookshelf. my plan is to buy another one of these holsters and nail it into the side of my bookshelf. that way i have another gun withing easy reach in my living room. oh yeaa

Mattress does not hold the holster very well
Depending upon which side of the bed you are on, the pistol grip covers up whatever is in the center slot. Not a big deal; just train yourself to get the pistol before going for the center slot. My big gripe is that the mattress does not hold the holster assembly in position as I draw with one hand. It slips and slides when I draw with one hand, and almost pulls the rig out from under the mattress. I can make it work using one hand to stabilize the holster as I draw with the other hand. In that regard is decidedly better than having the pistol in a night stand or lying loose somewhere else. I believe I can modify or augment the flat retainer part so that I stays put the way I expect it to. It's still a good value for the money.

Good holster
I got this holster to fit between my mattress and box springs. It holds my heavy gun well, and it does fit in the holster, but the holster keeps slipping out. It is a good idea, I just need to figure out a way to attach it to my box springs so it doesn’t slide out.

Great Buy!
Simple and exactly what I was looking for. I have my S&W 686+ currently hanging in it, but the loop is adjustable from the back so my Glock 26 or S&W shield fits too. There are holes on the flap that goes under the bed so I use some paracord to secure it to the frame. This eliminates the issue of slipping out while changing sheets. The flashlight loop is perfect for a speed loader and the magazine loop is also adjustable so I drop my tactical light there. All around great design. I chose this "less expensive" option based off a review comparing a bunch of these at similar price points. This one is the cheaper of the ones reviewed and has the added benefit of the loops for securing in multiple different scenarios. Good buy for sure.

Sleep Walker Safe
When things go bump in the night, and you live in the woods, it's nice to have a pistol handy. Not too handy mind you. You should be wide awake before grabbing a gun and figuring out if you are dealing with a raccoon or something worse, like a squirrel. The flashlight pouch is pretty good for a small light. The magazine pouch works.Edit. After a few days, the pockets have loosened up. I can now get my Beretta in and out fairly easily. This is useful because it is my winter CCW. It did used to be tight, but it is working fine now.I still like my original headline because some people may be concerned about having a loaded firearm hanging on the side of their bed. People who are on Zolpidem in particular may have this worry if sleep walking side effects are strong.

Excellent home defense holster
Perfect placement for access to your pistol and lights during the night should you suffer a breakin. My Springfield XDS 3.3" fit perfectly, as did my tactical flashlight and a spare magazine. The under mattress flap wasn't quite enough to hold the assembly securely, but I was able to secure mine perfectly by running a cord from the provided eyelet under the mattress to tie to the bed frame on the opposite side of the bed. This did the trick, maintaining the holster solidly right where I can draw it instantly when I'm in bed. This holder also has great potential for other locations, such as a chair, front of a car seat, or near the front door. I just may order another.

Annie Oakley would say: Easy access !
So happy to have this bedside, handgun holster. It fits snuggly between the mattress. It makes my Glock so easy to reach. It's well made and in an emergency, my gun is at the ready. It's a great product and for those of you still keeping your gun in a bedside drawer, I would say this product really cuts down on access time and improves your chance of survival should there be a home invasion. The gun stays snug in the holster, and I find it gives me peace of mind. Bad guy breaks in and you simply roll over, pull the pistol from the holster...no fumbling with bedside drawers and you are back in control. (Of course if you have friends or family with young children in for a visit, you will want to remove your gun from the holster and temporarily store it somewhere safe.) BUY ONE - You will be glad you did!
